Riding Japan’s Most Beautiful Island – Kyushu Motorcycle Adventure
I’ve always had a dream of riding through Japan with my best friend David. Now finally
it was happening. Awesome. Let’s go! Alright, we’re at the
airport. Let’s go get Dave. Trying to get a bigger suitcase,
but they wouldn’t let me. I got to get used to talking and riding. How do I switch this off again? Just kidding. It’s already begun. All right. On the road, buddy. How’s that GB feeling? I love this thing. We’re going to hook a left here, mate. All right. Horn works. So, we’re heading up in those mountains up there. All right. But first into the city. Riding through the city in stop start traffic
and 34° C temperatures really sucked. So, we decided to grab some lunch before heading
to the hills and search for some cooler air. Katsu don, look at that. Got some Miso soup. Hello.
Hello. Itadakimasu! Oh, that’s really good. That’s hot. That came off the surface of the sun. I know. It’s pretty hot. It’s pretty hot. I’m going to wait for a minute. I tell you, this guy in front of us ain’t
going to discover anything at that speed. No, he’s definitely not. He’s going to discover
what 350 cc’s is all about here in a second. You unleash all 21 of those horsepower. Don’t make me get them all out cuz I’ll do it. All right, buddy. Look off to your right here. Oh, wow. Got to watch the road, too.
Actually, the waves look pretty good. Holy crap. All right, we’re in Hyuga. Man, this is beautiful. Yeah, it’s a crazy good place. Look at the school Kiddies. A few years back, stroke had me stuck in a
hospital bed, thinking I’d never ride again. Two wheels, a dead dream. I’m a musician, pretty good
with a guitar. But riding with my pro filmmaker biker buddy, way out of my zone. Yet here I am,
shaky, but back. The road said, “You’re here.” This ride’s way more than I thought. It’s
something bigger, something more important. Jesus, man. Look at that. How cool is that? Yeah. I can’t remember who said it, but
there’s that quote that’s like, you know, happiness or joy, I’m paraphrasing, but you
know, happiness or joy is only real when shared. Yeah. Dude, that is unbelievable right there. How pretty, huh? I hope you don’t care. I’m
going slow through here. Oh man, go at whatever pace you feel good
at, brother. I’m here for a good time, but also a long time, hopefully.
Man, riding that hour through that town was worth it for just for this. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I’ve seen on this road, man. I’ve seen
deer. I’ve seen monkeys. I’ve seen snakes. Oh, wow. Yeah. So, you can you can find all kinds.
So, riding riding gentle and taking your time, soaking it in.
Good idea. This is why we do this [ __ ] right here, man. Yeah. I’m sorry, bro. This kind of sucks. I
know. But just just put up with it for now. Yeah, I know. I’ll get us back into a nice city with some shops soon With a lot of stop lights. All right, buddy. We’re on
the first of the bridges. Oh my god. Yeah, It’s pretty nice. Dude! We’re going to pull up just here
for a sec, man. Have a have a drink and uh chill. That is so crazy. Yeah. All right. Windy as all hell. As you
can see, my hair is blowing in the wind, but um yeah, we’re just taking a
break and we’ll rest up. Dave’s over there. his hair is not even touched by the wind. We’re basically in the middle of nowhere. Look, it’s all mountains. That’s all it
is. There’s nothing but mountains. All right, buddy. So, we’re I don’t know
what, like half an hour out of Takachiho, the spiritual birthplace of Japan. This is like riding a motorcycle into a painting. Dude.
Look at this. Look at that house. Holy crap. Imagine, man.
That’s That’s something else. Give me a head’s up on that big giant bridge. Okay, that’s it over there. Oh [ __ ] Okay. Alright. Well, get ready for it. Although they got scaffolding up, but
they might have cut some of the wind off. Yeah. Wind’s going uh from left to right.
Here we go. I’m going to lean into it. Yeah.
Oh, it’s going. Yeah, I can feel it. Oh, man. How pretty is this?
I want to stand up, but I don’t want to stand up. Wooohooo Sorry, I’m yelling. Oh. Oh [ __ ]
Yeah, we did it. All right. Well, there’s
only a couple more of those. Hey, I don’t know if you saw that, but
there was an adult DVD machine back there. There certainly was. Hey, you mind if I stop and go back? I just want to check. I’m just kidding. Well, if we decide to stay somewhere around here tonight, man, you know where
to go to find entertainment? Can I go 45 minutes back the other way so I
can get an adult DVD out of the rental machine? Dude, like this is like one of
the most This is the one of the coolest things I’ve done in my
life, man. Riding this road. I love it, bro. Awesome. Although, hang on. We can pull here.
Swing in here. This is a restaurant, I think. But for 2 minutes, I have no idea if this is a good view or not.
I can’t remember. Oh yeah, this is a view. Holy [ __ ] We’re a little ways up.
I think that’s the train line. [ __ ] dude. Look at the bottom. Yeah, it’s gorgeous, huh? And there’s a waterfall there. Oh my god. This is wicked good right? And that’s a train. You can
take a train here. And it runs along those tracks all the way through here. Let’s see if we get a a photo. And I trynot to drop my phone. Yeah. Good luck. Yeah. I’m just going to
do a a wide angle wide angle one. Yeah. Oh man, look at this place. All right, let’s go check out
this uh gorge and waterfall. So, are you a fan of waterfalls? I’m just kidding. No, I mean I I to be honest, I
I could take them or leave them. Dude, you take some freaking good videos and
photos of those damn things. It’s beautiful. Yeah, it’s like, you know, a
disease for some people, you know. All right, so Dave, this
is downtown Takachiho here, man. You see all these like lamps
lights on the side of the road? Yeah. So they they light up at night time apparently. And this is like going back in time, man. Yeah. It’s crazy cool place. Wow. All right, buddy. Enjoy the ride. Oh man! It’s real banked and it’s really tight. So, just take a cruise and enjoy. Okay. That’s like a motocross crack, dude. Yeah, it’s so cambered out. Holy crap. I just ran that so wide, I just ran that so wide. Dude, I about hit that that pylon. It’s fun though, right? Yeah! Yeah. Just follow straight down. So just up ahead you’ll see a turn in to
the right just where the crosswalk is. Yeah. So we can turn just Yeah. Park next to that
other Honda GB right there or anywhere you want. Excuse me can you guys take our picture? Thank you.
The girls took our photo. You digging it, buddy?
Like, how good is this place? Like a dream. It is, man. This is I I
don’t even know what to say right now. Just lay down and start crying. Can I lay down right here? You want to lay down in the middle of the road? Yeah and start cryin’.
All right. You You have a little weep. He took a knee. Dude, look at this man!! Who gets to see this stuff? Oh, man. I’m stoked. Takachiho Gorge was amazing, but
it was getting late and I’d found a pretty cheap hotel on Booking.com. As we headed back to the bikes, we met two fellow travelers from Tokyo. Satoshi and Kumio were really cool dudes, and we all became fast friends.
It’s amazing how the love of a motorcycle could bring people together like this. It seemed to be something recurring on this trip. dude, check that out. Sun just came through right
now, right as we pulled up. That was kind of dope. Jump into a taxi and head off to Takachiho
Shrine. Check out some cultural stuff. Wow. Perfect. Crapload of steps. Oh man, this is so cool. Alright buddy. So, what did you think about the Kagura? That was awesome. This whole place is awesome. Yeah, it’s cool, right? I mean, that was kind of creepy though, with the masks. Yeah, I’m not going to be able to sleep. So, yesterday was like literally one of the
greatest days of my life, riding through Kyushu. So, of course, 5:00 in the morning, 6:00, whatever
it was, I wake up like a little kid on Christmas because I get to do it all over again. Morning, guys. Yeah, we’re going to go ride over a volcano. So, that’s the other half of Okinawa Americana. Say hi. Hi. Every day I’m going to say the same
thing. This jacket’s freaking awesome. I’m going to get my jacket today. I know. You’re going to love it. So, I think we got to go Yeah,
we got to go down that way. Okay.
Let’s go. All right. On the road. So, how you feeling on day two, Dave? Man, this is uh I mean, you wake up and then you just ride into this scene. right? It’s kind of It’s kind of surreal sometimes, right? It’s like you’re rolling into the the set of The
Last Samurai or something where they filmed it. If we didn’t see a uh a petrol station
at one time, I got to pull in. But I’m still good for like another 100ks. So that’s a gas station. You got about 60 miles left. Is that what you mean? This is how we’re meant to be riding. Yeah. Look at that.
On both sides. Not a building to be seen. We rode on. The road peeling out before
us with beautiful views on either side. For a day that was forecast sunny,
the weather shore was looking rough. We spotted a viewpoint up ahead and
decided to stop and check out the volcano. That looks like it’s raining up there. As we pulled up, we could see a crazy looking squall tearing towards us from the
volcano. That didn’t look good. So, we decided to duck into
the tunnel and take shelter. The storm looked like it was going
to pass in about 30 minutes or so. It’s coming down now.
I’m going back in. Yeah, it’s nothing like just
chilling out in the tunnel. All right. So, this is the thing you do in
Australia. If you get lost in the wilderness, you want to call out to your friends.
You want to find each other. I’m going to do it right now cuz this tunnel’s dope for it. Here we go. Kooooweeeee Dave, it would seem like the storm has passed. Looks like it.
Look how Look at that. All right, let’s go.
That’s the volcano. Dude, you’re like at an F1 pit stop. Yeah, this is awesome. Thank you very much. We can roll dude. Yeah, this is just riders nirvana through here. This GB is hanging in, man. Yeah, man, she’s a good bike. Wow. Crazy. Beautiful, huh? Oh my goodness. It’s like you’re going to
ride off into the clouds. Yeah. It’s been wild, isn’t it? What a place. Look at the scars on that mountain
up there though to your left. Yeah. Oh, that’s so cool. Man, that’s scarred up big. Yeah, it’s beautiful, right? Whoa, whoa, whoa. [ __ ] idiot, dude. Jesus Christ, man. That… Hey, that’ll get the heart going. Yeah Dude! That was pretty close. Yeah, that was Are you right? Oh, yeah. Yeah. And what I was saying
was before I almost got killed. All right, man. See that big
uh brown section to your right? Yeah.
That’s the crater. It’s closed. It’s closed.
Oh, man. All right, buddy. Well, let’s get some food
here cuz there’s a little uh little restaurant in there, I think.
All right. This is the Aso Volcano
Curry. See, I got a volcano. And this is You didn’t say [ __ ] right?
You said Aso? Yeah, I said I said it. Well, I can say [ __ ] if you want me to… but it it fails in comparison to the
just the awesome size of your naan. Yeah, it’s all about the size.
No matter what anyone tells you. What do you think? Is it good? Not bad.
Not good? It It’s definitely not the best curry I’ve
ever had. It’s a bit It’s a bit uh bit watery. Although the volcano was closed, the view from
the restaurant wasn’t half bad, unlike the curry. You know, there’s one thing that I don’t have. What’s that? A motorcycle jean jacket. Oh, dude. Well, this shop we’re
going to has all that kind of stuff, I think. I’m getting nostalgic. I got
to get my John Cougar Mellencamp on. Look at this view, buddy.
Look at this volcano! Man! That’s crazy. Isn’t that amazing? I’ve toured Japan many times playing music,
but I’ve never seen it like this. The roads from Aso to Fukuoka. Unreal. We cruised through mountains, rolled down valleys, and followed rivers. Small
towns slipped by. Old shops, kids waving. I soaked in every mile. Then
Fukuoka Skyline rose pulling us to the shop. All right, so we’re here at the
shop. This place is awesome. Take chan’s awesome. And I’ve got to
pick up my new jacket. Hope it fits. Try this! Okay. Nice Cool…let’s try. Oh Size Good. Nice.
Nice size. Just size. Absolutely.
Is it good? Good? Good! It’s full mesh. See, I can’t make fun of you anymore. Full mesh jacket. Thank you. I want a denim jacket. This is cool…TripMachine. Yes or no? It’s pretty cool. That’s all me. Hold on. Ask her. Oh, we’re going to ask Amachan. Double shaka. Good!, Size is perfect! I like it. And this is the coolest shop ever. Look
at these jackets, man. Look at this. Hey, how’s it going, guys? So, we’re finally
here at a hotel for the night. That was what, like 12 hours. Dave’s an absolute warrior, man. I don’t know where we are, but this is where we’re going. All right. How is it, buddy? This is 10 out of 10. It’s 10 out of 10? Alright…That is what I call a meal. Dave doesn’t drink, but I’m I’m drinking. I got enough problems. All right. We’ll see you guys tomorrow, man. We’re
going to eat. We’re done. It was a hell of a day. All right, morning guys. Day three.
Look at this. This is the reality of uh the gear you got to deal with when you’re
shooting videos on YouTube from a motorcycle. It’s a beautiful day out here. Dave and I are
going to go check out the city, check out Fukuoka and um yeah, might take a lay day for the bikes
today and we got a whole bunch of cool stuff to go check out. So, should be fun. What are we doing, Dave? It’s our day off in Fukuoka on this
trip. So, we’re going to do what most people would do after riding 12 hours. We’re
going to take a train to a motorcycle shop. We got problems.
We got big problem. shhh Everybody’s really quiet. All right, this is where we are.
Looks like a big ass motorcycle shop, Dude. They got the..look at
that paint job on that Yamaha. That’s what you want.
That’s what I want. Yeah, Kenny Roberts. I t’s been sold.
Oh, it’s sold. Now we’re talking.
Yep Africa twin. Looks good. I think this looks
way better than I thought it did. I’m not sure if people have seen something like
this, but this is a chicken vending machine. Well, we have we have two motorcycles
just sitting there in front of the hotel, and we’re like, let’s get on train. Dave, um, is it possible we’re going to
a guitar store? I mean, maybe, right? These are really good. Those are hard to find. Trying to think which one I want to play. dude, that thing’s loud. Oh, I’m sorry. It’s about what was that?
$16,000. $18,000, something like that. Oh, but it’s on sale. So, I’m s I’m I’m
losing money by not buying this right now. He’s got it!. Look
at that, man. He’s already got it! Okay. What are we doing?
I Don’t know. We just got on a bus. Hopefully, it’s the
right bus. We’re trying to get to a baseball game It’s the first time for me. First time watching a Major League Baseball game in Japan? Yeah, same for me.
Yeah, same. I’ve seen soccer. I’ve seen a couple other sports, but never baseball
And we’re going to watch it in there. It’s going to be nuts. Look at that. That’s the Mizuho PayPay dome. Let’s do it.
So good. You had to pay twice. This is so freakin’ cool! So, we just got on the wrong bus and luckily
the bus driver told us the right bus and we got off that bus. Now we’re waiting for another
bus which will take us to this place where we can get some food. Uh it’s pretty famous around
in here in Fukuoka like food stalls by the canals and I’m just going to show you what Dave’s doing
right now. That’s Dave. He’s just doing that. Are you hungry?
I am hungry. Yeah. Okay, let’s do here. This guy’s got the coolest guitar. How cool is this place, man? A
place to just stroll around. This feels a lot like you know like where in Europe
like this kind of feel everywhere you go. Check it out… she’s got a… What?
What’s that? Oh man. Shamisen? Okay. So, I have to do this. Monday. Oh, I’m going to get a song! Do you speak English?
I a little bit. Okay. Answer all my questions. Okay.
Okay. Are you ready? Yes. Tuesday. No. No. No. No. No. Chushite. Chushite.
Chushite. Chushite. Chushite. Chushite. Chushite. I don’t know what just happened
back there. That was awesome. That was so damn cool.
That’s the thing I love about the, you know, when you’re going on trips
and doing this stuff is like, you know, you just come across these cool people you would
never meet unless you’re out traveling around on a motorcycle and just like walking around
checking out the world, man. It’s so cool. Oh, man. But how are you going to
explain that if you didn’t have that on film?
Oh, no. You couldn’t say others is I
don’t even know what happened. My my wife Man, Fukuoka rocks, dude. All right, man. Well, it’s time to head back to
the hotel, get some sleep with these two old men, and then uh we’ll get up uh and hit
the road tomorrow on the bikes and go uh go check out some more of the countryside. Who knows what we are going to find next? Yeah, right. I’m looking forward to it.
Let’s do it. Guys, how’s it going? Day four is starting. We’re going to ride go see the motorcycle museum. Have a great day. Thank you. It’s hotter today than it was the first day. Oh yeah, I’m cooking, man. Leaving Fukoka, the heat was brutal. The hottest
I’ve ever been was probably 25 years ago. 12 noon July 4th on a stage in Okinawa. I don’t
remember any of it. I just have a few photos. Today’s probably worse. I should have said
something. We probably should have stopped, but I just didn’t want to look weak. Let’s go. When we finally hit the riders
cafe, I saw Adam was struggling too, and that made me feel a little bit
better. As crazy as that sounds. It’s so hot, man. We’re coming
through Fukuoka. I don’t think I’ve been that hot on a motorcycle yet.
I mean, it was just bumper a bumper, burning. Every traffic light. It was brutal. All right, so this place looks amazing. So, it’s called the Day Trip Cafe and Bar. We
uh found it on Instagram yesterday. And now we’re going to order some… What do you
reckon? We’re going to call this brunch? Kind of.
Yeah, it’s kind of a brunch. You made everything. Looks great. While we were waiting for our food, Miwako san took us outside and showed us her badass Moto
Guzzi. She even let us hop on and start it up. Man, what a machine. What a lady. Awesome. Oh yeah, dude. rocking that. Oh, man. You rev it. You feel
the bike swing side to side. Give it some… Give it a little beans. Yeah, man! that’s super cool. Thank you. Got busy. Heck yeah. Look at this guy! And a little monkey. The food was amazing. The cafe was cool and the
staff were incredible. What more could you want? Oh man, this is I’m right back to saying
oh man like 5,000 times. But look at this. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it?
It’s cooling down. Yeah, cooling down. The road’s opening up.
This is what Ride Thru Japan is. After hours of relentless heat through Stop
start traffic and towns, the mountains were finally in front of us and we were climbing.
The road opened up and the air cooled down. We were absolutely exhausted, but we promised
Iwashita san that we would drop by the museum and I didn’t want to keep him waiting. Man, it feels good up here. Now you got to be loving this, huh? Yeah, man. So good. Look at those trees. It’s absolutely unbelievable. Yeah, this is so much fun. I mean, this is a real Ride
Thru Japan Street right here. Oh, yeah.
Look at that. Yeah, man. I want to go jump in for
a swim almost. That’s beautiful. Ah, this road is awesome. I’m glad we found this. This is what’s uh you know
once in a-lifetime road for me. All the people like, “Why are they going so slow?” Yeah, right. Yeah. Come over and give it a go. Yeah, cuz I’m old. How about that? Cuz I want to go home to my wife. I’ve got grandkids. See if I’ve already forgotten about
driving in the oven earlier this morning. Oh, yeah. You know, it’s saying now like 26°
on my Oh, sorry. 27° on my on my Thermometer. wasn’t it 40 something like 40 minutes ago.
43 Yeah. This is just this is heaven right now.
I could live here. Oh man. I could just park right there on the side of the road and
lie down and be happy for a long time. Whoa. See, you go right off
of that thing, couldn’t you? Yeah. Oh, it’s so easy, dude.
I think that’s the other reason that it’s so enjoyable. It’s not just the the
beauty of it as well. It’s just that like deep down that you know you’re in a dangerous thing
you’re doing combined with the beauty and the comfort and the you know the the flow you can find
on these corners. Put all that [ __ ] together, it’s like a perfect storm for happiness.
Yep. This is it. Made it.
Made it, buddy. Made it. I didn’t think we were going
to make it, but we made it. Oh, man. My butt hurts like you wouldn’t believe. Oh, my ass is so sore. Oh, here he comes. Let’s go. I’ve only known Iwashita san for less
than a year, but we’ve become fast friends. Dave first saw the museum on one of my videos and
has been jonesing to go and see it ever since. I figured I just let him enjoy
the museum himself and let him soak it all in without me being a tour guide. World vintage motorcycles.
Man, this place is awesome. You got Noki Edwards guitar. Wow. This is… I’m completely
freaking smoked. But now I’ve got this burst of energy because I’m here.
There’s no way that you can understand this, dude. These look at all these guitars. That old Triumph Bonneville. Look at that.
Look at all these. Oh man, Nokie Edwards the telecaster and Mosrite. Uh, look. 1936 Datsun Lunacy. Look at an RG400. Look at that. That is crazy town. I’m getting this. It’s got side car, too, dude, it’s Bassboat Sparkle Silver. I’m all in it. Yeah, that’s my favorite one.
BMW. Yeah, it’s an R12. I just love the lines. No [ __ ] Nuts. Okay. What’s that one?
It’s a It’s 1917 Harley Davidson JD with side car. With a side car! Just randomly there’s ET in the back. Like this is I’ve never seen anything at all like this in my life. Okay. This is That’s That’s Kenny Robert’s bike. Yeah Hold on a second. I got to film this
to send this to Matt and Robert Davis, my buddies. Okay. So, I thought I’d seen it all,
but this is Kenny Roberts GP bike. That is craziness. That’s the bad boy. That’s a 1 of 1. There’s
only one in the whole world. It’s the prototype. The Ducati Moto…
Apollo 2. Apollo 2.
Yeah. So that’s it’s the only one in the world. worth about 2 million.
So, it’s the only one in the world. Yeah. So, there’s other Apollo
twos, but this is the prototype. Just a Testarossa sitting there.
That’s all right. If you need me, I’ll be over here.
Yeah. You think he’d let us take it for a ride?
I don’t think so. Hold on a second. Hello, dude.
We got.. We got to get that XR250. Found a place to stay for the night. Very
close by. We’re both smoked but stoked. Both David and I could have spent hours
in that museum. But Iwashita san asked us if we want to go for dinner and
he already made reservations. So we had to move quick smart to make it to
our hotel and get ready before that. Almost there. I have tattoos so I can’t use the onsen? .
Both are private hotspring. Okay. Family hotspring. Okay. Private.
Okay. Thank you very much. Have a wonderful day. This is a cool town. Yeah, this is such a cool place.
Onsen town in the mountains. Yes, sir. We ate, we drank, we told stories, talked bikes, and had a great time. The food was
delicious and the company exquisite. Then Iwashita san said, “Hey, let’s go to my friend’s place.
It’s kind of cool.” So, off we went. This guy is such a dude. I’m
blessed with friends, I tell you. Wow, look at this place. This is
wicked, man. I’m like, drunk and I’m happy. This feels like we’re in Bali or something. Iwashita san is an awesome dude. He’s
more than just the owner of the largest private motorcycle collection in Japan. He lives life at full throttle, gives without care of return, and enjoys every moment. It’s an honor to call him my friend. Hey, so we’re in the town of Yufun and it’s
the last night. Tomorrow we ride home. And since Yufun’s an onsen town, I figure this would
be a cool time to go jump in to have an onsen. Dave’s Dave’s crashed, so I’m going to
have an onsen since I have tattoos. I normally can’t go into onsen’s, but this
is a little private on so I’m good to go. So, I’m going to show you guys what this is, what an onsen is like. Don’t get too excited.
I’m not going to show you everything. Let me show you what I what I got
in store here. Check this out. This is a Japanese onsen.
So, basically, if you’ve never tried this before, I’ll run you through what you do.
So, use one of these little shower things here. pull up a stool like this guy. You take
a seat. You clean yourself completely first and then you hop into the onsen
which is hot sort of sulfur water. This whole area is full of volcanoes. So, um I’m not going to show you all of that
cuz you don’t need to see all of this. But I’m going to jump in and
do that. So, that’s an Onsen. Good Morning. It’s about all I got Dave.
Yeah it’s been a hell of a trip, hasn’t it, buddy? I don’t even know what to make of all of it, but you can see that where we are, but We’re in Yufun. Yufun’s little spiritual town, onsen town. But we were planning to do a little
bit more riding before heading back, but uh looks like the weather’s rolling
in. It’s going to be pretty rough. But you know what we haven’t done yet?
What’s that? Riding in the rain. Wow. So,
we’ve got three and a half hours. Yeah.
Coming up. Yeah, we’re going to be riding
in the rain all day today. So, but um I don’t know, buddy. I think I think
we’ve had such a perfect trip. This would be a good time to just wrap it up, you know, like I
don’t think we can top anything we’ve done so far. No, I don’t I mean I’m sure something else will
happen today and we’ll say “we wish we had our cameras on.” Yeah. Well, we don’t have to film it all
though, right? And we’ll keep this one for us. Just for us.This is for us. So, we’ll see. But I I don’t want it to end though, right?
You know, like I want to go home. I’m tired, but at the same time, I don’t want it to end. You know what we should probably do? What’s that, bro? Just ride the whole country. Hey, wait a second. Are you
talking to going tip to tip? Let’s do it.
[ __ ] yeah, bro. I’m in. Let’s do it. Tip to tip. On the ride back to Miyazaki, rain poured down on us the whole way, start to finish. With fog so
thick it was like riding into a cloud, barely able to see. But I loved every second. These five
days, the people we met, the places we saw, and being back on a motorcycle, it was awesome.
Looking back on it all now, I can honestly say this was one of the happiest times of my life.
And you know what? I can’t wait to do it again.

Hi Adam, i’m excited for the new video. Glad to see Dave back. Have fun. Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up. 🏍️ 🏍️💨
Essa aventura está incrível 🙌
Thanks for the awesome video! Everyone, come and hang out with us!
19:21 Yep. You REALLY have to just expect this kind of lane control in Japan. Happens more often than I like, for sure.
On another note, I am so envious of you guys! I’ve driven that road from Takachiho to Aso (the whole Aso area, the plateau, Milk Road, etc.) quite a few times but I really want to ride it!
Just finished the video. I really enjoyed it! Keep up the great work! (I am definitely going to visit Iwashita’s Collection!)
