Here’s the Roland news we really need: Bandai is expanding the ridiculously detailed miniature gear for miniature capsule machines. There’s a tiny TR-808, plus the JC-120 Jazz Chorus and Blues Cube Artist 212 amps and the JUPITER-X. Gotta catch ’em all.

Here’s the full view. You’ll need to find a capsule machine, of course, so this is mainly for our friends in Japan or traveling through. There, they cost a well-worth-it 500円, or just over three bucks. (We seriously need a pile of these for Superbooth or something.)

And if the mention of a capsule machine didn’t clue you in, these are really tiny, ranging between 4 and 9 cm. I’m particularly impressed by those amps, even though today is supposed to be the 808’s big day. (Hey, why aren’t we celebrating Jazz Chorus in January?)

Look at these details:

Roland Miniature Collection [JP]

This follows an equally kawaii Korg Mniature Collection, which I wrote up in this Korg Japan special. Yeah your dollhouse can have an amazing studio:

I’m still dreaming of making some working instrument that would require a child safety choking hazard warning.

Look, make all electronics as tiny as possible. Life imitates art.
