so you go below the Hoover Dam like that yeah and it’s this crystal clear freezing cold water because it comes out the base of the Hoover Dam one kayak company canoe company drops you off there and it’s a 13mi paddle from there to a pickup point at a place called Willow Beach over those 13 mi there are all these pull outs beautiful sandy beaches little campsites and they all have incredible hot springs that nobody goes to there’s very few people because there’s only one kayak company that kind of offers this there’s no motorboats on that part of the river so it’s just you a couple other people in canoes like spread out and you just go down this incredible

Wow!! I would go there … in 10 years time … perhaps … but beautiful!
The Saluda river / Lake Murray in Columbia, SC .. is a similar experience.
Why is the first thing I thought "Squeal lil piggy!!" 😢😮
And what’s the queue time? If it’s similar to the kayak company in Grand Canyon it’s over 8 years lol 😂
us natives from years ago would hike to the hot springs during the mid 80's. its about a 2 hour hike.
Yea. Its the colorado river
And????
This place is already very popular but it's popular to those that want to KAYAK 13 MILES. So his telling about this isn't gonna flood it with families or smaller pairs. It's work.
"Nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded" — Yogi Berra
He said. Cold so thinking off season. Why less people. Like planning any vacation.
Is that connected to Lake Mojave north of searchlight?
Stay the fuck off Lake Mohave
I only live about 75 minutes from there
The kyack copany "kind of offers"? such weird talk on nonsense sometimes
Dams are bad period.
Was that the one featured in the movie, Into The Wild?
Sounds boring
No motor boats? That’s funny because I just took my motor boat all the way through that stretch of river 🤔 but the rest of this is accurate. Very very cold water, even when it’s 120 degrees out the water is 54 degrees..it’s incredibly beautiful and I highly recommend it
Been there love camping at boy scout camp grounds
White people problems. 😂😂😂😂😂
SinCityOutdoors did a video about theses hot springs. And they got to them in a jon boat with big outboard.
I've done this.. it was an overnightee and awesome
How much does it cost that’s the big question
Wrong…hot springs are hikable and boat in…they are crowded. There are 3 companies that drop at the dam…it is a river…thats correct
I spent a lot of time in that part of the river, used my canoe with a 7 1/2HP motor to run up the river from Willow Beach, then pattle back , many times over the 38 years I lived in Las Vegas. Just wo9ndering when did they ban motorboats from that part of the river ?

Imagine if there was no dam. Itd be a much longer beautiful river. The Monkey Wrench gang has good ideas
Almost enough to make me want to do that. But I am on the other side of the Country, and I don't take vacations…👍
Oof.
