[Music] [Applause] Kinicha travel fam. Are you ready to dive head first into one of the most incredible cities on Earth? We’re talking about Tokyo, Japan. And in this video, I’m giving you our 5-day itinerary packed with everything you need to experience the magic of this vibrant metropolis. From the moment you land to the moment you reluctantly say Sananara. [Music] Before we jump in, a few quick tips. Tokyo’s public transport is worldclass. Get an IC card. You can easily load it and tap on or off trains and subways. It’s a game changer. While more places accept cards, many smaller shops and restaurants are cash only. Always carry some yen. Google Maps is your best friend. Seriously, it’s incredibly accurate for navigating Tokyo’s complex train and subway system. Lastly, wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking. Trust me. All right, let’s get into this epic 5-day adventure. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Welcome to Tokyo. You’ve just landed likely at Narita or Honita. From Narita, the Narita Express is your best bet. It directs to major stations like Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shabuya, and Shinjuku. Takes about an hour. We say Skyliner is also super fast going to Oweno and Nepori from Honeda. The KQ airport line and Tokyo Montreal are both quick and efficient connecting to Shinagawa and Hamamatacho respectively where you can easily transfer to the JR Yamanote line. Day one. Once you’ve checked into your hotel, we recommend staying near a Yamanote line station for easy access. If you arrive in the afternoon as nightfalls, Shinjjuku truly comes alive. Explore the massive department stores and electronic shops and don’t miss the iconic Godzilla head in Kabuko. A truly unique experience. Immerse yourself in the tiny atmospheric alleyways of Golden Guy or Omoided Yoko. These areas are packed with miniature bars and Yakuri stalls. Day two. Start your day with a visit to Maji Jingu Shrine. a majestic Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Magi and Empress Shoken. Walk through the massive Tory gate and along the peaceful forested path, you might even catch a traditional wedding ceremony. Afterwards, stroll through the adjacent Yoy Yogi Park. Step into a world of Kauaii at Harajuku Takashidita Street. This bustling pedestrian street is famous for its eccentric fashion, quirky shops, and rainbow colored food like spiral fried potato. For a more upscale vibe, explore a Mote Sando Avenue, known for its high-end boutiques and elegant architecture. You can also find some trendy cafes here. Time for the world’s most famous intersection, Shabuya Scramble Crossing. Experience the organized chaos as thousands of people cross simultaneously at Shabuya Crossing. For an epic panoramic view of the scramble and beyond, head up to Shabuya Sky Observation Deck. It’s an unforgettable photo opportunity, especially at sunset. Day three. Today we’re taking a step back in time before diving into the future. Begin your day in Asakasa, home to Tokyo’s oldest temple, Sensoji Temple. Enter through the iconic Hammond with its giant red lantern. Stroll along Nakami Story, a lively shopping street leading to the temple filled with traditional souvenirs and street food. Explored the main hall and surrounding grounds soaking in the historical atmosphere. From old Tokyo to Electric Town, Akihabara is the mecca for anime, manga, electronics, and gaming. Flor multi-story electronic stores, anime specialty shops like Mander, and countless arcades. Challenge yourself at one of the many arcades with incredible claw machines. Day four. Start your day with the peaceful walk through the Zojo Gi Temple. Wander through the expansive and peaceful grounds and enjoy the Tokyo Tower view is a classic Eiffel Tower inspired landmark offering great views. Then take a leisurely walk to Aabidai Hills. Prepare to have your mind blown. Tokyo is home to the incredible Team Lab digital art museums. Team Lab Borderless is a boundaryless world of digital art that moves and interacts with visitors. These are extremely popular and tickets must be booked online well in advance. Day five, it’s your last day in Tokyo. If your family loves food, start your day at Tsukiji Outer Market. While the main fish market moved to Toyosu, Tsukuji’s outer market is still a vibrant place for fresh seafood, street food, and kitchen wear. Teens will enjoy the bustling atmosphere and trying various delicious snacks like tamagoyaki, fresh grilled seafood, or even an early sushi breakfast. All right, time to hop on the train and head to Thomas Center where San Rio Purland awaits. The journey takes about 45 minutes, and it’s a great chance to relax and get excited for all the cuteness to come. San Rio Purland is an indoor theme park which is perfect no matter the weather. There’s so much to see and do. From adorable character Matan greets to dazzling shows and fun rides, it’s impossible not to feel happy here. And that’s it.
