How to visit 120 countries #japan #japantravel #worldtour
Are you thinking of visiting the Osaka World Expo, but don’t know how many days to go for? We spent seven days there exploring over 120 countries and over 50 pavilions. Here’s what we would do. If you’re curious about the overall vibe and want to see cool architecture, then go for one day and explore. And if you want to see that, plus the inside of some pavilions and shop for merch without feeling rushed, then we recommend 2 to 3 days. But if you want to see all of that, plus see performances, do unique workshops, and explore even more pavilions, we recommend 7 days. And if you want to do it all, you’ll probably need one and a half to two weeks. Follow Minion and Kevin for more of our experiences and tips at the Osaka World Expo.
Save for the optimal planning schedule 📅 Part 30 of our adventures at the Osaka World Expo 2025! 🇯🇵
We spent 7 days exploring the Osaka World Expo, and experienced so many cool things, including amazing pavilion architecture, making udon from scratch, and seeing flying cars of the future! We made it to over 120 countries and over 50 pavilions in total 😮
Most people though may not have that amount of time to spend, so here’s our recommendations for what you can do in the amount of days you have. Note: if you get lucky with lines or explore at a fast pace, then you’ll be able to experience more pavilions, etc.
1 Day: Focus on the pavilion architecture and experience the overall vibes. Great if you just want to see what it’s all about. Or check out part 22 of our World Expo series for an hour-by-hour 1 day itinerary!
2-3 Days: See all that plus the inside of some pavilions and shop for merch without feeling rushed. Ultimately, the number of pavilions you can see will depend on which ones you prioritize and how long the lines are. There are many stores including inside pavilions.
7 Days: See all the above plus see performances, do unique workshops, and explore even more pavilions. We did an udon making class and got to try out a new AI suitcase for the visually impaired.
1.5-2 Weeks: The amount of time you’ll need to do it all! This was our very first World Expo, and we enjoyed it so much that next time, our goal will definitely be to see it all!
