On June 25th, 2025, SUNNY TERRACE, a new commercial food and beverage facility, opened at Hokkaido Ballpark F Village. One of the three new stores that opened on the same day was the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant Hakodate Gourmet Kaiten Sushi Kantaro, which originated in Hakodate. We visited Kantaro with The Fighters Girl Miyazaki Rio and enjoyed the fresh seafood. This time, we’ll introduce the charms of the Kantaro F Village store that we experienced with Miyazaki!
“Hakotaro” is an authentic conveyor belt sushi restaurant that brings the flavor of Hakodate to F VillageThis is also the restaurant where Kotaro Kiyomiya ‘s friend, “Kiyomiya “Hakotaro”” made sushi.
Hakodate Gourmet Kaiten Sushi Kantaro is a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant with locations mainly in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Based on the concept of “making Hakodate sushi,” skilled chefs carefully prepare sushi using carefully selected fresh seafood.
The appeal of Hakotaro is undoubtedly its freshness and commitment to craftsmanship. The seasonal ingredients delivered daily from all over the country are all fresh, and the flavor spreads throughout your mouth the moment you put it in your mouth. Also worth mentioning is Hakotaro’s unique “Hakotaro Balance.” The ingredients are large and the rice is small, allowing you to fully enjoy the original flavor of the ingredients.

Also, as a conveyor belt sushi restaurant is a place that families can enjoy, consideration has been given to families with children everywhere, and not only are strollers allowed inside, but the restaurant is also equipped with kids’ chairs, kids’ cutlery, and diaper changing stations in the restrooms.

My favorite sushi topping is scallops!A delicious sushi experience with Rio Miyazaki’s genuine smile
We asked Rio Miyazaki, who visited the restaurant with us this time, about various topics while tasting sushi from Hakantaro.
Ms. Miyazaki, who joined The Fighters Girl this season, is a new member with a wealth of experience, having previously worked with other teams’ cheer teams and represented Japan in the Miss Universe 2023 and participated in the 72nd Miss Universe World Games held in El Salvador.
Upon graduating from college, she auditioned for The Fighters Girl and successfully became a member. After representing Japan in Miss Universe, I asked her why she chose again to become a professional baseball cheerleader in Japan,
When I was in elementary school, I started attending a J-League cheer school and had opportunities to perform at stadiums and other venues. My favorite moment was seeing my parents happy when they saw me perform, and seeing the smiles on the faces of the supporters. I want to make the people around me happy, and I think that desire has led me to where I am today.
The Fighters I wanted to become a Girl because when I went to ES CON FIELD with my family to watch a game, I was strongly attracted to the “entertainment that can only be experienced here! I was strongly attracted to this place. Now that she has actually started her activities, she says she feels that “this is the place to be.
The packed stands visible from ground are always exciting, no matter how many times I’ve seen them. No two matches are the same, so I always come away with a fresh outlook on our activities.”
Ms. Miyazaki began cheerleading in elementary school, and in junior high and high school she was a member of the cheerleading squad that won the overall national championship. She has lived with cheerleading her whole life and will once again shine in the world of professional baseball cheerleading.
