The Boat to Naha (extreme)! 那覇行きの船!激しい海の波
Here we go. [Music] [Applause] [Music] This is crazy. Oh my greatest experience of our lives. [Music] What’s up vlog? It’s day three and our hotel manager person told us that there’s no ferry and there’s no high-speed boat, but there is a small charter boat. So, for 5,000 yen, we can make it off this island today and get to Naha, which is good because we’re running out of money. There’s no ATMs and if we don’t go today, we might miss our flight tomorrow. So, yeah, it’s tough. We just said bye to our favorite t-shirt shop friends, Tomodachi. No, t-shirt shop. They make all their shirts and they record videos for the island. Yes. And every store has their stickers. Yes. Yeah. It’s so good. We went to the like a restaurant and they were playing like one of their home movies. It was crazy. It was like a talent talent show or something. Like everyone was showing off their dance moves and their singing. Yeah. It was so cute. I got this jacket from them, too. It’s got the logo on the front and one of the drawings on the back. Yeah, that jacket is so nice. Yeah, it’s so cool. And it’s like a dry jacket, so if you’re swimming or sweating, it’s good. Going onto the charter boat. Oh snap. Look at how colorful. I know. This is so cute. Oh my god. This one is much smaller than the boat that we took on the way here. So water seated. But we just found out it’s our hotel guy and our hotel lady. So maybe these are all the hotel residents. Wow. Here we go. Leaving on mommy island. [Music] Oh my god. You get me every time. Massive for you. See though. Oh, it’s smoking in the back. Oh my god. A pretty [Music] heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. What’s up, guys? Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Oh, big one. Big one. Big one. These are like the biggest waves I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Like, no joking. This is what they were going through like in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Probably the camera doesn’t do it justice, but Oh my god. Wow, these waves are like giant and huge. Big in every direction. It’s the craziest. The craziest experience of my life. Truly. Oh my. Oh my god. No. Oh my god. No way. Oh my. [Music] Oh my god. No. This is crazy. Oh my. Craziest experience of our lives. Oh my god. There’s probably still like an hour left. More than an hour. Oh, no. We might be okay. If the purple doesn’t extend down here, we might be okay. We might be okay. Purple is the worst. Purple is the next step. And then [Music] There it is. It’s going crazy for real. Oh, I think we’re in the clear. It looks flat. I didn’t think we were going to make it. Yeah. Oh. Oh. Oh man. We survived. Oki kazi. That boat. This was our boat. It’s so small compared to all these other giant boats that we took before. Couldn’t sail in the wind. Oh my god. [Music] [Applause] [Music]
Hello and welcome back! こんにちわ、チャンネルへようこそ!(Filmed: 11/2023). 私はまだ日本語を勉強中なので、この物語は英語で書きます。ご支援ありがとうございます!❤️
With few choices and a quickly approaching time limit, we made a tough decision to risk it all. This is the journey we took to get to Naha from Zamami Island. The route taken went past the Kerama Islands and into the Pacific Ocean/East China Sea between Zamami and the main island of Okinawa.🌿
When we woke up on the 3rd day, island news stated that the ocean conditions were too treacherous for anyone to leave the island. Our hotel manager, who knew our situation, knocked on our door, telling us that there was a small group of people going to Naha by Charter boat. He said it would be risky but we might make it. We trusted him and met the crew shortly after.🫡 About 10 passengers and 3 crew members boarded the boat. The life jackets didn’t have zippers and there was nowhere to hold on to while sitting outside.🛟 Our bags and some senior citizens sat in the small room on the inside of the boat while the rest of us braced the storm outside.
This was one of the craziest situations I have ever experienced. While some people made videos for loved ones or planned out where to swim to if we fell off, I was thinking about how I would tell this story! I couldn’t take videos during the most intense moments of the boat ride because my phone is not waterproof and I needed both hands free to hang on to the boat, but I think this boat experience is something that everyone here will remember forever. (If you guys find my channel, I hope that you will enjoy this video)! I had so much fun in Okinawa and this memory is one of my favorites!!✨ It was definitely scary but it was exciting! The boat captain was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t believe how skilled he was! He was able to avoid every large wave that came above us from the sides. Looking back, our boat was small but it was fast, and I think that is how we were able to make it to Naha safely. みんな、本当にありがとうございました!一番おもいで!🌊🌊🚤🌊
