[Music] In the wake of a heartbreak storm, I found the strength to reiterate the things I sworn to myself when I was younger and dreaming about seeing the world. And then you promised me one day we’d make it out to Japan. But now let’s fast forward. We’re lying on the floor. You threaten to call the cops on me cuz I refuse to leave the silence loudest. I surrender to your rage book to Tokyo. station. Hey, how’s your day? I don’t know if I’m interrupting what you say. I’ve got to know if I’ve been MIA. I can make it up to you right now. What you say? You should know. I see when I’m with you. Time after time. I feel alive when I’m with you. Everything stops for a moment, but only for a moment. So I could take this time to enjoy you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I see more life when I’m with you. Don’t be fring and again. Good morning. We are at Mishima and we came from Osaka. We took the Shinkansen. The ride was a bit over 2 hours and then we’ll be here for a layover. So, we’re just waiting for our bus that will take us to Kawaguchi. We’ll stay there for two nights and that’s where Mount Fuji is. Basically, our end destination is Tokyo for this trip. And we decided to cut the trip from um Osaka to Tokyo in half. Like there’s a stop over there in Kawaguchi so we could see Mount Fuji. Usually though, a lot of people go from Tokyo to visit Mount Fuji, but that’s just day trips like we did a few years back. So this time we could spend more in time in the area, go to the different lakes and then there’s a pagoda and then visit the different uh landmarks or the famous places where you could take pictures with Mount Fuji at the background. So yeah, we’re just having brunch. Well, it’s 11:30 already. Early lunch here at this ramen place beside the bus stop and right outside of the train station. to know if I’ve been MIA. I can make it up to you right now. What you say? You should know. I want to live when I’m with you. Time after time. I feel alive when I’m with you. Everything stops for a moment, but only for a moment. So I could take this time to enjoy my view. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I see more life when I’m with you. Don’t be frowning, baby. You know I love you time and time again. Yeah. I’ve been trying lately, but I’m not perfect. I’ve been searching. Then you came into my life. So what? Yeah. Yeah. I’m done making my mind up now cuz you’ve been spinning my mind. Hello. We arrived at Kawaguchiko. We just um checked in at the hotel we’re staying at. It’s called Plaza in Kawagucho and it’s such a cool and charming place. Basically, the inn is manned by three cute old men that are like grandpas and they’re so sweet. One of them even offered to take a picture and it has such a good location because it’s by the road and when you cross the road there’s the bus and is it a train station? I’m not sure. Oh yeah, it’s a train station. Um we’re here right now by the way. And at the back of the train station is Mount Fuji. Like you could literally see it. It’s We’re so near Mount Fuji. And then a few meters away is the famous Lawson where everyone takes pictures. So yeah, we’re going to the flower festival. It’s a good thing we’re here springtime. And it’s also a good thing that the weather is really nice right now. It’s breezy. It’s cool. Not too hot. The sun is out, but it’s not too glaring. Earlier, I was so worried because on the bus ride, it was so foggy. You couldn’t see anything. So, I was so scared that we might not be able to see Mount Fuji. But yeah, it all cleared up and it all worked out. So yeah, [Music] whisper something I could hear away for the weekend. shooting a deer. We sit in silence with your rifle by my ear. I need venison forever just to keep you here. But you push me out. I keep you down. You touch my mouth and lie like you mean it. And so in the middle of phone speak like a real break me down so bad I should take it you so you know Find me. [Music] Left your bracelet. I said it was bells. I keep secrets. I do it well. It’s exhausting and embarrassing as hell. Don’t have to tell the world the truth, but god damn it, tell it to yourself. But you push me out, I keep you down. You scream hash, but I’m not going to leave it cuz in the middle like break me to pieces down so bad. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. We don’t know. So you push me out. I keep you down. It’s 6:00 in the morning and um there’s Mount Fuji in the background. And it was so cool because when we stepped out of the hotel this morning, we saw the mountain right away. Our hotel is in the perfect location. Um it’s also super close to the train station, like super walkable, like in 2 minutes you’ll arrive already. So, um we were able to wake up early this morning and we’re waiting for the train to leave. This is the earliest schedule that we could catch. Um, it leaves at 6:14 and yeah, today’s plan is to visit the famous Pagota. We’ve heard that during sunrise or early in the morning, you could catch the amazing lighting. So, that’s what we’re trying to do. Hopefully, Mount Fuji shows itself later because yesterday I kind of jinxed it. When we went to the flower festival, it was hiding. But when we visited this town, I’m not sure what the name is. I’ll just insert it. There was no there weren’t any other people. So, we were able to take amazing pictures that Mount Fuji was clearly seen. So, thankfully, we went there. The doors on the left side will open. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] We’re having some breakfast at one of the famous Lawson’s where everyone takes pictures of and has Mount Fuji at the background. Although right now it’s super cloudy, you can’t see it. It took a little peek earlier, but it was really quick. That’s the thing. You have to really check the forecast because there are a lot of days, well, at least during this time where it’s cloudy, it’s raining. It’s a good thing we woke up early to go to the pagoda because when we went there it was clear. You could see Mount Fuji clearly. Um we bought a lot right now. So chicken sandwich karaag hash brown a lot of onigiris pastries. We took the bus here. You could take either the bus or train going around the different landmarks here. So there’s the different lakes, the flower festival, Lawson Pagod, the pagoda. Uh we bought the day pass, the one day pass around the northern area. It’s only for the bus though. Um you could also buy the two-day pass. Uh it’s really convenient because it’s like hop on, hop off. No, we also have the Sua card that we bought beforehand and we use it everywhere. Uh basically you just load it with a certain amount of money and then just keep on tapping. You could use it in the subway, the metro, the bus. It’s basically a debit card. And it’s super super convenient because you could use it around Japan. So we use it for all the way from Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, even here and then to Tokyo. So you could use it everywhere. We’re taking the bus to Tokyo. I think it’s 2 hours. Yeah. Um we just bought some breakfast. We bought a lot. Lawson Hall. Um so funny. Yesterday all we had the whole day was Lawson food because um breakfast we ate at Lawson, lunch we ate at Lawson again and then dinner we it was unplanned. We ate at Lawson again because we were trying to take pictures of Mount Fuji, the famous Lawson and there were quite a lot of people midday and in the morning. So, we ended up spending a lot of time just waiting for the crowd to clear up. It was worth it though. We stayed until like 6:00, almost 6:00. That’s when we took the bus ride back here. And the colors were amazing. The clouds thankfully cleared up towards the end of the day. And since it was sunset, the sky had a different color. It was like orangey and then also pink and purple. And we got really good pictures. So um if you want to avoid the crowd and and you are sleeping here, just wait and be patient and then you can go back to Lawson to take some really great pictures once everybody leaves like the tour groups, the tour buses. So yeah, it’s a nice day. It’s kind of sad how the sky is clear just on the day when we’re leaving and we could see Mount Fuji clearly and there’s not a cloud in the sky. The sky is so blue right now. So yeah, we’re just having breakfast and waiting for a bus. And I’ll see you when we get to Tokyo. [Music]
