Come explore Otaru with me on a bike (Hokkaido, Japan) | 北海道小樽市怎么玩(自行车版)
Come explore Otaro with me on a bike. We were just walking around Otaro and passed by the Latau dog statue when we saw the bikes next to the Otaro Bay cruise building. The first 10 minutes was great until we found out Otaro is a hilly place. Look at this health through it. We first visited the Sumio Yoshi Ginga, a peaceful little shrine hidden away from the crowds. The view at the top was pretty good. You can check out your hikes here too. After that, we check out Sakai Machi Street and I can spend the whole day here. The street is beautiful with many western style buildings which are shops that sells different things including souvenirs and food. I personally recommend checking out the music box museum with many cute music boxes, but most importantly to see the steam clock that whizzles every 15 minutes and try out this audio dome because the song experience was amazing. We had lunch at on San Montichia or Taroa branch. My friend had a seafood dawn and I got a fish set that was honestly too huge. Best part, the free crab soup. So good. We also tried some snacks along the street. Highly recommend visiting Latal to try their cheesecake and cookies. Later, I just passed by the Otaro Canal and the view was great even without taking the actual cruise. Next day we took the train back to Sakuro and recommend you to sit on the left for a great view.
