Alone in Tokyo | Solo Travel Vlog in Japan 🍣 ✨

[Music] Hey. [Music] Well, we woke up in Tokyo. And by we, I mean you and me because I’m here alone. Yeah, bit crazy. A little bit spontaneous. My first solo travel. And I guess we’ll get into that later because now we have places to be. We’re at Sheibba Park Hotel in Tokyo, which is basically Sheibba Park is like right under Tokyo Tower. Steaming my outfit now and then we’re going to walk into Ginsa. I have a nail appointment at 1:00. I’ve been up since 1:00 a.m. and it’s 11:00, so things are kind of finally starting to open up. I had breakfast downstairs in the hotel. I’ve just been click clock clacking away on my computer getting some work done because I am still working. It’s Monday in LA, Tuesday in Tokyo. So, definitely still have work to do. But without further ado, let’s go have a little adventure. This is my cutie little outfit for the day. And I know it’s crazy, but I’m thinking I’m going to wear some kitten heels. Like, we’ll see. We’ll see how long I can walk. Everyone says they’re doing 30,000 steps in Tokyo, but are they doing 30,000 steps in kitten heels? It’s going to be hot outside, so I’m hoping that the hair up will be refreshing enough. [Music] I think we’re going the right way. I will say it’s humid. My face is sticky. I don’t know if it’s sticky, but it’s definitely sweaty. I don’t know what this place is, but it’s gorgeous. Oh, well, everyone’s wearing kimonos. Beautiful. [Music] So cute and way cheaper than LA. Kind of reminds me of a Russian manicure, like the method that they use. But what was so cool to me was when he took a little magnet and he was moving the pigment around with the magnet. I was like, “Okay, go walk. I’m starting to crash. I need caffeine. Like, it’s an emergency. So, let’s go see if we can find a coffee shop. Like, what’s really surprising to me is that walking through Hinsa, I didn’t really stumble upon that many. So, I think I have to just search one out intentionally. And I think the problem is too that lots of things go up and I’m only looking at street level. So, I need to start looking up. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I’m taking myself on a date tonight. Um, I’ve never actually taken myself to dinner, so this is my first solo dinner ever. I mean, I’m an only child. I’ve lived alone. I’ve eaten alone plenty of times, but I’ve never gone out to a restaurant by myself, especially not a nice restaurant. But I’m doing the whole date thing. I’m going to dress up for myself. I made a reservation. I I have a beautiful Omocass dinner set up over in Shabuya. And so I’m just going to touch up my makeup and then we’ll be on our way. Another policy on being late. So I’m really trying hard to be on time even though I’m actually already late. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Okay, dinner was great. I was super shy. So, basically, you go into the restaurant and first of all, can’t figure out where it is. I have to ask this grandma. And she’s like, basement. And I’m like, “Okay, she’s so cute.” She helps me down to the basement. I go in and it’s one sushi bar. No tables, just a sushi bar and it’s full. And I’m like, “Oh my god, they gave away my seat.” No, they take me into a back room where there’s another mini sushi bar. There’s already a couple there and a me. There’s only four seats. A couple, me, and then an empty seat because I’m by myself. No one speaks English, which I think is a good thing cuz that means it’s fire. Like I was definitely the only tourist there for a fact. Right in the very beginning, I was like shaking. My social anxiety was next level. I’ve just been awake for like a million years. Well, anyway, we’re in Shabuya. [Music] Sorry for myself. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Is it crazy? This is Shabuya Scramble. It’s just a fat ass crosswalk. But is it crazy if I walk an hour back to the hotel? I just feel like why not? If I get tired, I’ll call a car. But I feel like there’s so many people out. It’s definitely safe. I just ate 22 courses, so I’ve got the energy. And yeah, I might [Β __Β ] around. And I would rather walk than take the train because the train is so intimidating to me. There’s so many people. I don’t even think I could call an Uber here if I wanted cuz there’s so many people. Good morning, Tokyo. It does look It looks a little bit rainy out there, but hopefully it’s just for now. Let’s see. Almost 5:00 a.m. So, I guess I’m just going to get Oh my god, look how cute my nail looks. I guess I’m just going to read, maybe get some work done for a few hours. I think the hotel breakfast starts at 7:00. This is actually my last full day in Tokyo because tomorrow morning we’re going to Seoul for a few days. Uh this is what I’m reading right now. A Return to Love. I’ve seen so many people post about this and I just started it, but I love it so far. Highly recommend. [Music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Of [Music] course. Of course. It starts to rain right when I get my hair done. Heat. Heat. [Music] It’s 5:00 a.m. Today is going to be a super long travel day. [Music] [Music] Tokyo Express [Music] Tokyo. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Hello. [Music] Dinner was so good. And now I’m walking through Montesando where I’m going to come back tomorrow cuz I want to go to Harajuku which is that way and like properly do some shopping because at the beginning of this week we were here if you remember like we were standing right there but it was so hot. I was dripping sweat. I was so jetlagged. Tomorrow we’re going to come back. I’m looking for a vintage Balenciaga city bag. Or if I can find a unicorn, and I think we talked about this, the unicorn would be a Chanel under 20,000. I don’t think it’s going to happen. Maybe in the outskirts of Tokyo, it could happen, but it’s not going to happen here. But the Balenciaga, I think it can happen. Okay, we good. Today we’re really, really, really busy and we are in a really, really, really tight schedule because it’s our last day. Flight is at 7:45 p.m. Tons of activities plans. This volume, here’s my fit. Just like a super super easy breezy little linen vibe. You are my sun. You are my sunshine. You are my sun. You are my son. You are my sunshine. You are my sun. You are my You are my sunshine. You are my You are my So you are my I ordered this. This is This is gigantic. You are my You are my sunshine. You are my [Applause] [Music] Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music]
