On the 20th, comedy duo Penalty Wacky threw the ceremonial first pitch before the game between Rakuten and Nippon-Ham (Rakuten Mobile Park).

Wacky commented through the team, “I pitched with those battling cancer and the medical professionals treating them in mind. I would like to continue doing activities to raise awareness of the head and vulva cancer that I have. As for pitch itself, I ended up straining myself in an attempt to throw a strong ball, so I only managed about two runs…I may have been a bit shaken up after showing off my usual routine and it flopped.
