JP09 β Osaka in 2 Days π―π° | Castles, Ferris Wheels & Vegan Street Food
Hello, good morning, welcome to Travelling Checklist. Today we are in Osaka and today is our last day of our trip. Today we will explore Osaka. There are some things to see in Osaka. First we will go to the Osaka Castle. After that we will explore the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. And we will also go to the Osaka Aquarium. And we will also explore the Shinsakai area. So let’s go now. It’s around 10.45 in the morning. We are a little chill today. Now let’s go to the metro station and then to the Osaka Castle. So we have come to the Moronomiya station. And this station was about 15-20 minutes away from our house. What you can see behind me is the Osaka Castle. Now let’s go towards the Osaka Castle. From here we will have to go from the Osaka Castle Park. It will take about 15-20 minutes to reach there. There is also a ticket to the Osaka Castle. The ticket that we had bought. And we had bought it from Klook. Let’s go inside and see how long the line is. So we were here in the Osaka Castle. There are Starbucks, R Baker, Lawson etc. on the way. So we have picked up some things from R Baker. For example, this is a vegetable bread. This is croissant. Latte. And these are good things. Let’s try these. Then let’s go to the Osaka Castle. So this bread has sweet potato and red bean paste. The rest is also good. This is also something like garlic bread. And these are the best. And the coffee is also good. And the doughnut is also good. The bill for all these things was quite good. We have paid around 1400 Yen. So according to that, it is quite good. So this is R Baker. Here there is Starbucks and Lawson. So all these things are in the Osaka Castle Park. So you can buy anything from here and eat. If you haven’t had breakfast. So this is the first Moat Lake. Mot lakes used to be built around the castles. This used to be followed in India as well. So that the armies that are coming, when there is an attack, they don’t come from the water path. They had to come by swimming. So from there, the options of attacking were reduced. So that’s why mot lakes were built. All the castles here. So there are two mot lakes in the Osaka Castle. One was the previous one. There is one more mot lake. So we are finally entering the main gate of the Osaka Castle. So what you are seeing in front, this is the Osaka Castle. So we have finally come to the Osaka Castle that you are seeing behind me. The Osaka Castle was built in the 16th century. And it was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who succeeded after Oda Nobunaga. And he was also called the Napoleon of Japan. So this is a sort of samurai Era symbol of Japan. So let’s go inside. There are about 8 floors here. And from the top floor, you get a very good view of the entire Osaka. As I told you earlier, you can buy tickets online. Or you can come here and buy. But if you see here, there is a long queue for tickets. So it’s good that we bought it online. Now let’s go. Let’s skip the line and go inside. Wait time is 15 minutes. They have basically made the Osaka Castle a museum from the inside. So these are the things of the museum. You can take pictures wearing these things. So we are now in the Osaka Castle. And around the 5th floor, it feels a bit like it is still in the old touch. Otherwise, the whole museum is down there. So we have come to the top floor of the Osaka Castle. And it gives a very panoramic view of the Osaka city. So we have come to see the Osaka Castle. And from the inside, it is mostly a museum. And it has about 8 floors. And if you want to get the feel of the castle, then you may not get it from this. Because it is mostly renovated and has become a museum. From outside, there is a complete castle to see. then you can come here. If you have not booked an online ticket, then you can skip going inside. But look at this from outside. It is very beautiful from outside. If you do not want to go inside, then you can skip it. So now we are going from the Osaka Castle to the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. It is about half an hour away from this Moronomiya station. So let’s go and catch the metro. It is very sunny and the weather is also very hot. It is around 1.30 pm. Let’s go there and see something to eat. Because our aquarium tickets are at 5 pm. So we have to pass the time by then. Let’s go ahead. So we have come to the Osakako station. Which has both the aquarium and the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. You can see the blue one in front. This Ferris Wheel is also here. So we have come near the Ferris Wheel. It is said that it is one of the highest Ferris Wheels in Japan. Let’s go and see from where we can get the ticket. So we have bought the ticket. It is for 900 Yen. And you can get the ticket on the second floor. From the third floor to the platform. So let’s go there. So in this gondola, you have an option. Either you get the normal gondola. Or you get the see-through one. Which looks a little panoramic. There is a little line for the see-through one. And the normal one goes. There is a little line. There is one person in front of us. So let’s go and wait for the see-through one. The height of this gondola is around 112 m. It takes 15 minutes to cut one circle. 15 minutes. As I was telling you. The special panoramic cars. There are 8 in this. And the rest are 60 in total. So that’s why It takes a little more time for the special one. It will take around 15 minutes. We will complete one or two circles. And the further people will be there. And the wheelchair is also accessible. There are 3-4 cars. So that everyone can come and use it. Let’s go and wait for the see-through one. Let’s go and wait for the see-through one. So we have come to Giant Ferris Wheel. Let’s go to the top. And then we will show you the view from the top. So we have come to the top. It’s going very slowly. It’s good. You can see the view of the Usaka Bay from here. This is the whole Usaka Bay. And because it is a harbour. So the ships are running here. And you can see the whole city line from this side. You can see it from here. And today’s weather is also very good. So it’s fun to see from the top. You can see the Universal Studios from Ferris Wheel. This is the Universal Studios. This is the Universal Studios. This is the Universal Studios. This is the Hogwarts building. And this is… So it’s good. We are not going to the Universal Studios. Because we didn’t find it worth it. We thought it to be place for kids So… That’s why we didn’t go there. But it’s okay. We saw it from here. And this is the Osaka Aquarium. And this is the Osaka Aquarium. So we will go there too. We are in Ferris Wheel now. I think it’s coming down. We saw a vegetarian restaurant. This one with greens. Let’s go down. So we have done this gondola ride. And it was good. You can do it once. If there is a long line, you can go in the normal line too. There is not much difference. Let’s go down. Let’s eat something and then go to the aquarium. So this is the vegetarian restaurant. Which we could see from the top. From the top of the wheel. Let’s go and see what we find here. Close. How can it be close? So this is close. Let’s go to a curry restaurant. If we find some vegetarian there. So that restaurant was closed. But then we found an Indian restaurant here. It was Sagar Madha Indian and Nepali restaurant. But the food was good. The bill was around 2600 Yen. And the naan was good. Because after so many days you like Indian food. Now you don’t judge. So it was good that you can eat here. And if you want to find a vegetarian restaurant, there is an app called Happy Cow. You can get everything on that. How many vegan or vegetarian restaurants you can find on that app. Let’s go to the aquarium. So we have come to Osaka Aquarium. The ticket is for 5.15 pm and it’s 3.30 pm now. Let’s check. If they don’t allow us to stop, we will wait. The rest of the people are also waiting. We will do it now. So it’s 3.30 pm now. And the entry is for people for 3.45PM. So I asked them that we have a 5.15 pm ticket, let us go. So they refused that you can’t go now. You have to go when your number comes. Because there are limited slots inside. So it’s okay to wait for hours. Let’s see. Let’s go. I have noticed one thing in Japan. They go a lot on school trips. I mean, wherever we have been, whether we have been to Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, or the train station, kids come here on school trips. And on Sundays, Saturdays, they come daily. And because of their age, they behave like Indian kids. But it’s okay. It’s a good thing that they are going on school trips. But the bad thing for us is that a lot of kids come here. So we have finally arrived after seeing the aquarium, we are almost in the aquarium and it took 1.5 hours. It was worth it. You should come if you have time here in Osaka, then you should visit the aquarium. There are a lot of aquariums, usually most of the aquariums are similar. If you have seen other big aquariums, then you can skip, otherwise if you have time, then you must come to Osaka Aquarium. Now it’s our time to end today’s day, see you tomorrow. So now we have come to eat the cheese cake of Rikuro, you must have seen this cheese cake, this one has come to eat the cheese cake. And it has a line, but it is okay, people are walking at a good pace. So this is the cheese cake that has come to eat and this is one of about 1000 yen. It took us about 20-25 minutes, so it takes time when things get famous on Instagram. But let’s try, let’s see if it tastes good or not. So finally we have sat in front of the shop to eat this cheese cake, now let’s taste it. This is the famous fluffy cheese cake, it is very soft, nice. If you like cheese cake, then you must try it. So we have eaten the cheese cake that we have eaten, it is very big, we will finish it later. Now we are at Nankai Namba Station Square, so people are sitting here comfortably. Now let’s go for some vegetarian food, you get it at Coco Ichibanya, you get nice curry and rice. Let’s go to Coco Ichibanya, it is just 500 meters away from here. After that we will go to Shinsakai. So this is Coco Ichibanya Curry House, you can eat vegetarian food here. You will also get veg options at Coco Ichibaniya, like vegetable curry, spinach curry, plant, cheese curry, mushroom curry. And they are around 900 yen, so you can eat here. So our food has arrived, let’s eat, this is vegetable and rice. This is the food, it is vegetarian and it is very nice, the taste is also very nice. We are coming here for the second or third time, it is very nice, first class. So we were in the Dogyusuji Market, here these aliens are roaming around, welcoming us. Robot, this is also a good market. There are similar shops here, I mean you can buy utensils, souvenirs, there are many such shops here. So you can also get handwashes here. There is a big utensil store here. This is a utensil store. Another utensil store. So we have come to Shinsekai Market. There are also some food items here and there is also a Tsutenku Tower here. So let’s see, let’s go inside. At the end of this is the Tsutenku Tower. And this is also a street for food. Japanese BBQ. Let’s explore this, let’s enter its alleys. So this is the view of Shinsekai Market. This is also a very vibrant market, just like the one in Dotonbori. And that is the Tsutenku Tower. Let’s go, there is an outlet of Don Quijote here. Let’s do some shopping and then let’s go back home. So this was our last day in Japan. We roamed a lot in Osaka. And did some shopping as well. Now it’s time to go back. So let’s go back. It’s almost 4 o’clock. Tomorrow morning we have a flight at 10 o’clock. So now we are going back to our AirBnB. And we will pack and leave. If you liked our whole vlog, then do like the video.
