Osaka Street Food Tour | What I Ate at the Market
Here’s everything I ate at a market outside of Osaka Castle. Started with a matcha from the first stall and then went to these two hilarious guys serving the best grilled coobe beef ever. It was absolutely delicious. You can see me try it here and then just melt because it was so so so good. Next up, we tried a creme brulee sweet potato. And finally, I have been waiting for this forever. This was Tonghulu, which is like sugar hardened around fruit. It is so delicious. I was so happy. I started dancing because I was so happy about it. It was absolutely perfect. And I’m allergic to red food coloring and this is the only one that I found that didn’t have extra added red food coloring. So that was a bonus.
Come with me to an outdoor market in Osaka as I eat my way through the stalls and try some dishes! From sweet to savory, this is a full street food moment and one of my favorite ways to experience a new city.
Let me know what your favorite Japanese street food is or what I should try next
