Don Quijote’s pop-up in Seoul will run up to August 1, 2025, at The Hyundai Seoul B1.

Don Quijote launched in Seoul: What to expect
Don Quijote has partnered with GS Retail to open a limited-time pop-up in Seoul, with some of Donki’s most iconic and new products up for grabs. Bringing the essence of Japanese shopping culture to Seoul with variety, excitement, and affordability, the lifestyle store is bound to resonate with locals, particularly the younger generation.
Here’s what you can expect at the Don Quijote pop-up in Seoul:
Exclusive merchandise, including 50 items from Don Quijote’s in-house brand Jonetz, including cosmetics, food, liquor, medicine, and household goods.
Fun and collaborative products with GS25 (a convenience store franchise operated by GS Retail).
Unique lifestyle products like cool touch innerwear, red pepper rice crackers, DIY sushi sets, Donpen sandals, and 14 flavours of Umaibo, among other products.
According to a report by The Korea Times, Don Quijote in Seoul drew a crowd of 1,200 on its opening day, July 8, 2025, and sold out within 30 minutes.
“We signed this strategic partnership with Japan’s No. 1 discount chain as part of our goal to become a global retail platform. We will continue forging new partnerships with global distribution brands and expanding our global network for exports and imports, solidifying GS25 as a ‘global K-convenience store,’” said Huh Chi-hong, merchandise division chief at GS Retail, in the report by The Korea Times.
Earlier this year, in April, Japanese retail shop ‘BEAMS’ opened a pop-up at Lotte Department Store, Avenuel Jamsil B1, and the Japanese bookstore ‘Tsutaya’ also delighted buyers in Seoul with a pop-up in May 2025 at Nine One Hannam.
