Swedish fashion label Acne Studios has opened a flagship store in Tokyo’s Aoyama neighbourhood.

Spanning three floors, the space was designed in collaboration with Stockholm-based architecture firm Hallerod, a longtime partner of the brand.

The interior is dominated by pink granite, a recurring material in Acne’s retail spaces, used across floors, walls, and fixtures. London-based designer Max Lamb contributed matching pink sofas in leather and fabric, while Paris-based Benoit Lalloz designed the lighting.

In the basement, ceramic works by Japanese artist Takuro Kuwata are on display as part of a collaboration with Acne’s creative director Jonny Johansson. The project also includes a capsule collection of reworked Acne pieces, including denim, bags, and small leather goods.

The store carries the full Acne Studios range, including men’s and women’s apparel, footwear, accessories, jewellery, and eyewear.
