Bullet Train: Hiroshima ~ Osaka | Hotel Story Namba | Dotonbori | Don Quijote | Japan Travel Ep. 5
Heat. [Music] Heat. Morning [Music] and we are still in Hiroshima. We are about to check out. We already checked out from the hotel and we are about to reach the station uh to board our second shinkan trip to Aaka. But prior to that priorities first we are doing a brunch kind of a thing at 7-Eleven and um different different choices. I prefer the cold ones, he prefers the hot ones. So we going to show you the food. He has ordered some noodles and chicken and this is heated microwaved. I have ordered cold pasta with some fried chicken. This is cold and this is salad. Really love this one. Their dips are amazing over here. And we got some food for the train as well. We have kept it over there. The viral food sandwich. He consumes it almost every day. And this is a chicken cutlet sandwich. Along with that, we had some sweet potato with almond and uh what dressing? Almond one and cream. Cream. Okay. So, yeah, we are going to review that one later. But this one first. So, I’m loving it. This is very yum. How’s your food? Very good. Very light. Yeah. So, we kept our bags at the reception and we had this coffee machine at the reception area where you can have unlimited coffee. And prior to leaving Hiroshima for one last time, sipping on a cup of hot coffee and then we will take a tram to reach the Hiroshima station. [Music] So this is the designated platform for Shinkansen from Hiroshima. And I have bought one special desert which is known as Moji Mangju that I have first seen in Hiroshima. I’m going to soon tell you how it tastes. But first, let me board the train. Well, this time we booked seats with extra luggage space because last time we had a tough time with our big suitcases. This time it’s comfortably kept at the back and we are seated in front enjoying the train ride. And now time to taste the mongji. How is it? It’s good. It’s uh bit soft outside. I’m having the authentic one which is the beans one. The red beans. Great dust. Very different but very yummy. How good is 7-Eleven food? By God. Now, I’m going to show you the toilet of a bullet train. Everything is automated in Japan. You just need to press buttons if you want to flush or you want to look for some assistance. And even the flush also has multiple options. The seats can be heated up in the toilets. Enough space to just wind down. [Music] Finally, we landed in Osaka and my husband is super excited about Doon Bori, which we are going to cover in the evening. For the moment we are taking a train and we landed at Ebisucho and walking towards our studio apartment known as hotel story Namba. So this is a selfcheckin apartment where you are mailed with a code and you need to enter that code here only. Then the door opens and once you are done checking in through this tablet there are lockers and your room number and key number will flash out. So you need to take that and then proceed with the lift. So we checked into this apartment a couple of hours ago and this is a studio apartment which we booked from AODA for rupees 30,000 for three nights and the moment you enter there’s this bathroom on the right with all modern amenities and there’s the toilet on the left but the problem is that this is the first time in Japan I’m seeing that they have provided us with a floor mattress therefore the cupboards are not opening hence our luggages are kept here and there and also the balconies is extremely dirty. So, we can’t even open the door and the view is of a dumping yard. Technically, there is no fresh air coming in. Therefore, both my husband and I, we are feeling very claustrophobic. But right now, we don’t know what to do because tomorrow morning, we have an early morning day trip to Kyoto and N. But before we decide, we are thinking of heading towards Doon Bori to quickly shop something just in case we check out early. [Music] The most famous outlet of Osaka is coobe beef. Other than this, you will find Wagyu beef and omi beef. These are the three types. And majority of the tourists or even the people over here actually consume a lot of beef. So we decided to have our lunch at this Indian Nepali restaurant called Bhati which is very very close to the doi area. Since innumerable tourists visit Osaka and hardly there are trash cans in Japan, you need to carry your trash with you. Therefore, people prefer to dump it on the road. So, it is not as clean as the other parts of Japan. Unfortunate to see that people littering on the roads even in a country as beautiful as this. [Music] Osaka is a technology enthusiast paradise and both of us are gadget freaks. Therefore, we spent a good time exploring all the gadgets over here which costed half the price of what it is in India. And if you place your passport then you know it’s also taxfree. So right now it’s almost evening and we are now currently walking towards the main botoni area where we are going to show you all the glitz and glam of Osaka. So come check this journey out with us. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] So finally we have reached the famous black man statue at Donbi. In case you want you can cruise in this river as well which we skipped. And we are also calling it a night a little early because tomorrow early morning we have to leave for Kyoto and N day tour. Soaking in all the vibes and energies of Osaka and then finally heading to our favorite restaurant to have dinner which is the Koko Curry. So that’s it from this video.
