Solo Day Trip from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji Helped Me Reset
M Fuji is about 120 km away from Tokyo. M Fuji stands 3,776 m high. It is about 2 and 1/2 hours drive away from Tokyo. I took a bus. So from Lawson Town Hall, we circle the bus circle to Lake Kawaguchi and also the Oshini Park area. So over there you can see the water was glossy and clean. It’s reflecting. And you can see Mount Fuji reflection in the water and you can see flowers just rows of flowers has bloomed. This is springtime April 2025. From Lake Kawaguchi area the bus stopped in another location. Here we went to Oshino Hakova. It’s a small picture perfect village with springfed ponds like clear as glass. So the water was so clean. You could see coins, you could see fish. It has kois inside. I mean almost like you can see your thoughts at the bottom of the pond. It was absolutely beautiful. They have wooden bridges, all water wheels.
This Solo Trip to Mount Fuji Helped Me Reset I didn’t know I needed. As a nurse practitioner and mother, I’m always pouring into others. This peaceful escape reminded me: “Stillness is healing.” 🌿 Sometimes, quiet is the cure.
