from a blinding kaleidoscope of light to a charming daytime stroll Daltton Buri completely transforms from night to day Which side will surprise you more Known as one of Osaka’s principal tourist and nightlife areas the area of Doonburi runs along the dotten canal from Doton Bori Bashi Bridge to Neponbashi Bridge in the Namba district of the city’s Chua ward Historically a theater district it is now a popular nightlife and entertainment area characterized by eccentric atmosphere and large illuminated signboards Some of the more famous ones you’ll see later in this video [Music] is popular with both Japanese and international tourists And as you’ll see as this video goes on during the night there is an absolute massive squash of people in this area If you are not good with crowds I do not recommend Dotenburi That said if you want to explore all the restaurants in the area and see what do is really about I do recommend going at night The overload of the senses that Donbur is is worth experiencing at least once in your life Hey hey hey In more recent years Dottenbur has seen more and more of the smaller restaurants move out and chain restaurants drugstores and paching parlor move in This is quite unfortunate because it does take away some of that uniqueness away from Dottton Bori But I imagine with the Osaka Expo coming up um and currently on the rents skyrocketed and unfortunately some people can’t afford to stay in business when that happens [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey Hey Hey Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] up Hey [Music] [Music] up Up go up [Music] But what does Asaka’s most famous district look like when the sun rises You’re about to find out Starting near Hosenji Temple as you can see there is not many people around during the day We started filming this about 9:00 a.m so there is a couple of commuters walking along the canal which you’ll see a little bit later in this video but mostly the area is very quiet [Music] [Music] Hello Hey Hey high High [Music] So if you’re somebody that wants to experience Dobbory but you don’t want to experience it with the crowds but you also don’t need to go into the restaurants and the stores in the area coming during the day especially early in the day might be your way to do it [Music] [Music] Heat [Music] Heat Hey Hey Hey Hey hey hey Hey Hey Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat Heat [Music] Heat Heat [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] up a [Music] [Music] Heat Heat [Music] [Music] [Music] And that’s what it’s like to walk through Dottenbur both at night and daytime We hope that you found this as interesting as we did when we were walking around in Donbur of a morning If you’re currently planning a trip to Osaka or Japan in general we have heaps of videos so make sure you check them out And I hope you enjoyed today’s video Thanks very much for watching [Music]
