MUJI Store Akiba Tokyo Store Tour
Tokyo Paul. Here we are at Akiabaro. See one of my favorite shops because it’s cooling too. Basically technical synthetic clothes. That feels all right. I always feel my clothes. They like to sell it at about a price point of 40 bucks. Oh, I see. Oh, maybe I was going to increase the size of the view, but it’s okay. Oh, by the way, I am M size and I am a chunky Asian dude. Dare I say stocky? I don’t want to say stocky. I don’t I don’t want to think myself as stocky. But check check it out. It’s It’s me. Hey guys. Okay. So, this is probably Oh, 12 bucks. Not bad. Feel it. It’s Oh, it’s nice. Nice. But it’s really long sleeved and it’s hot. I don’t need that for now. Mujis will sell stuff. The whole point of Muji is with that kanji is like uh it’s really uh no clothes. I mean no no design. Excuse me. No clothes. That’s so funny. Check this out. No design. The hats, no design. That’s also going for 30 bucks, man. 30 bucks. [Music] A lot of Japanese I think buy for travel. I was saying I like these. Okay. Um these are okay. I don’t like these as well. The two years ago they had a different style which I like cuz I bought both this size and this size. I had a whole set for myself until I sold one. But uh yeah, that was some great stuff. Very good stuff. Japanese uh indoor shoes. I would say you probably are a L or XL cuz I think I’m an L. And uh how much are they? 5.90. Good price, you know, very chill for home. I always like the ones with open toe so that air can flow and doesn’t get stinky in there. Like the theme of this store sometimes is like uh Norwegian Nordic. I think they really like that value system. And then uh fans. These are cool. They’re quiet. And these are good chopsticks, dudes. I I want to buy some light pointy for Japanese, right? And light and high quality. And not bad cuz the ones I bought like 10 bucks. I wanted quality ones. And these aren’t bad either. They’re like actual wood. So your miso bowl. Dude, since when do you see a bowl that looks natural and green? Also feels high quality. Well, that’s very expensive. These bowls are expensive, but when do you get a bowl that’s like natural green? And uh look at the color. I like the color. And what are these super tiny spoons or ice cream or yogurt, right? It’s got to be It’s like two bucks. Ice cream or yogurt. Of course, you know, these are runs. They got small and big. They probably fit in the dishwasher, but they take a lot of space. [Music] We got the ramen bowls, pasta bowls, the curry bowls, everything but Japanese food. Pasta. I got to go. People are moving. What I like about Muji, too, is they got pre-made food, man. And they tell you how spicy it is, cuz some people I know cannot eat spicy. It’s pre-made beef curry roasted spices look really good. It’s three out of five peppers spicy. I could probably eat up to five, but uh it’s for one person there. It’s five bucks. It’s about five bucks. Cool. So, I buy a lot of that stuff. Sometimes I want to eat more exotic foods. Dude, I didn’t know Muji sells cat food. Holy crazy. They sell cat food and they sell catnip. Is that a grass kit? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that before. This whole section for cats. Japanese love their cats. I guess it makes business sense. I have never seen this snack before. Assorted fruit flavored tablet candy. Oh my. probably uh I think these are like hit or miss. I think my daughter likes this type of toy. I mean food. It’s that she eats these. Um basically pop them in your mouth. She has two teeth now. Yay. My daughter has two teeth. Two teeth. She can eat a banana and those poppers. You already got to see, man. Too slow soul on the flip. Ah, I know what you mean. That’s also honestly why I didn’t buy it. I I want it. I just don’t buy it cuz comfort, you know, you can Yeah. Yeah. You always right. So that’s why I didn’t tell you and I meant to say thin, but uh no worries, dude. Opinions are valid. Opinions are valid. Now, let me walk around some more. Yeah. I like how these fans are quiet. Okay. They’re not cheap. This one’s 70 bucks. They’re quiet. And look, it’s like a jewelry cases here. I like them. My wife doesn’t like them. Also, I buy one. Whoa. What is this? Some kind of like carrying bag. But maybe it’s felt like high quality felt. It’s a felt file by ox. I guess if you have toys, but then if you like adult toys, you know, look at that. If you have model jaws, things you want to show, which I I actually have one from the dollar store and I put my first generation AirPods in there. I’m collecting ear ear stuff while I want to. That’s Chi Kaiser also sensei and dad that’s from One Piece. That’s all I know. [Music] Look at that. It’s a Steve Jobs folder. Seriously, they’re selling it for holy lad. [Music] Guys, I love this clock. I have too. It’s not cheap. It’s It’s What is it like? What is it? I think it’s like uh look, this one’s 60 bucks. I think this one is 40 bucks, but it’s simple. Okay, you can put it in your living room. All it does is tell the time. Great sh Oh, look at this. It’s so tiny. It tells stuff. This is tiny. Just tell the temperature. Good stuff. Okay, good stuff. Simple and straightforward stuff. Simple linen for your house. Feels decent. No, no fills, no chills. Daiso sometimes expens too. They even have green. Whatever your favorite color is. Still a little bit expensive compared to America. If you want other stuff, looks like a bath. Something for the bath. hangers. But have you seen a metal hanger? It’s pretty unique. More metal hangers. A whole set that will run you about uh 36.90. Oh, worker had to come right behind me. By the way, I love these films. Again, a little bit Norwegian um uh inspired. Oh, check it out. It’s mostly like citrus, olive, some plants, yuzu. This is probably my favorite. I love the citrusy smell, man. Let me smell to Paul will smell. This is the citrus. Oh, smells like orange. Good stuff. Uh, I’m going to try to use it. Okay. I I’ I’ve done this many times from many shops in Japan. Oh yeah. Smells like yuzu. It’s more punchier and more uh how do I say pointier if it makes sense, dude. Here they have herbal. Okay. Herbal stuff. Floral woody. I’m going to try I’m going to smell great for a minute. I love if you notice the citrus smells. So I’m going take this thick switch it over. Oh yeah. Makes you up. Makes me feel like it’s uh smells like 10:30 in the morning. That’s right. Good stuff, man. It’s chill. Whenever you come here, destress. I bought that when I was in California. Be careful. It smells great. You buy the oils, you pour it in there, and uh it’ll defuse. Be worried about any kind of mold wherever this stuff lands. Otherwise, it’s very cool for right between a movie, after bed, having right before bed. After bed, you can spray it just like for breeze like that for breeze. How much does it cost? 17 bucks. That’s good stuff, man. Good stuff. This is my first Muji tour. Yeah, I I should have to look. Okay, I’m not a chick, but they have really nice clean looking. It’s like a clean hotel. Like uh UV sprays. I I love the clean look of these bottles. Everything’s blue. I kind of like blue. It’s very nice. Price points are five bucks or 17 bucks. And uh see, look, you’ll see a lot of Japanese people in Europe like looking like this. Maybe America when they call it America. This is it. So this is uh G Y and apparently it’s taxfree. Unfortunately that doesn’t work for me cuz I live here. I wonder if I go up which is new. Will I lose?
