Travel Hiroshima | Bullet Train from Tokyo to Hiroshima | Miyajima | A-Dome | Japan Series Ep. 4

[Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] A very good morning from Omorei. We booked a cab today to reach Shinagawa station to board our first bullet train. It costed us 1,800 INR for just 5 km. Taxis in Japan are very costly, but well, if you have luggage, you have no choice. This is a separate designated platform for bullet trains. And before boarding, we bought some bento boxes for lunch. And we are now super excited to reach Hiroshima. It’s day five in Japan. And today is the day we have been waiting for because it’s the bullet train day. Today we are traveling from Tokyo to Hiroshima. Extremely excited. Standing at the Shinkansen station. Uh in 20 minutes our bullet train will be approaching. waiting to board that. So excited. Just look at this beauty. Our Nosomi 700 Shinkansen is approaching. So we are waiting at a designated gate of carriage 4 where our seats are booked. [Music] This is our bento box. It is two tiered and we have over here the famous Japanese omelette, some chicken salads and also two types of rice. One is the sticky one and the other one is with chicken. And you can also buy self-heating bento boxes, but this one is the colder one. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] We just landed at Hiroshima. We bought a bottle of water and now heading towards the bus and we board a bus to our hotel. These vending machines all over Japan is like a blessing in disguise. You can find water, cold ring, different types of cold ring which you will not even get in India at a quite cheaper price. We are heading to the bus stop and we are going to take a bus to our hotel. If you want to find out which type of public transport to avail in Japan, please use Google maps. They will guide you the best. This is Hachobori, one of the very famous and posh places of Hiroshima. And our hotel is located right over here. The name is Hotel Vista. And come, let me give you a quick room tour. There’s a luggage space the moment you enter to hang clothes. The toilet area is separate and there’s this big fulls size mirror where you can see yourself. And then this is the bathroom [Music] with a bathtub and a dust bin and all bathing kit. Extra amenities have been provided at the front desk. This is the room where you have the basin. Again, there’s a mirror. Then there’s this big size TV, two twin beds, enough place to sit, and there are these curtains which is going to give you the city view of Hiroshima. What a lovely stay. Found an Indian restaurant very close to our hotel but we have decided to pack our food. Packed some good Indian food roti and dal mcney. We couldn’t film inside because there were people eating and we didn’t want the people to get disturbed or disrespect their privacy. Walking back towards the hotel now. Hiroshima is pretty calm, cool and very very chill vibe. I’m looking for a vending machine to buy a coke and then finally head towards out good had a good sleep took good rest all ready for tomorrow. You will find different types of cycles which are parked and you can take these for rent. You just need to pay it, take it and roam around the city and again place it back. [Music] D. [Music] This is our hotel and we have a 71 right below our hotel. So this is a blessing because anytime you need water, you need food, you can easily get over here. We are planning to do tomorrow’s breakfast in 7-Eleven before we start our Hiroshima day tour. Good morning. This is day two in Hiroshima and we are as usual late because again we were sleeping. So um right now we in the 7-Eleven catching up with a quick breakfast. It’s already here the name. I took this chicken cutlet sandwich. My husband is having one fruit sandwich and we have some almond buns with us for the bus. So, we going to take a bus from here directly to the ferry. The first stop is Mia Ferry and we’ll take a bus from the near around bus stop. I’ll see you there. Sam, we couldn’t figure out which bus to board. We tried to communicate with the local lights but there was a bit of language problem and we walked quite a lot also. We came two stations ahead of Hajabori and finally we decided that we are going to take a tram and travel the streets of Hiroshima. We found out that the tram is going to take approximately 45 to 50 minutes but this tram number two is directly going to drop us to Miaima Ferry Terminal. And uh being a Bengali you know what trams mean for us. So when you’re traveling in a tram and that to in another country it was a different experience altogether. We have reached Miaima ferry terminal and here also your sweet guy on all the IC cards will be walking. Just got a punch in like you all do in the metro and leave for the ferry. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] We boarded the ferry. This is the J ferry. And how are you feeling?
I’m very excited for the film.
Yes. [Music] [Music] So we are at the Miaima ferry. And currently we are going to see the shrine. The name I forgot. I think it’s what is the name of the shrine? Bitsukushima. Itsukushima shrine which is the floating Tori gate and we are walking towards that and there is an aquarium also if you want to see. Well, the best part of coming to Japan is you can actually collect stamps of different different places that you are visiting in Japan. One of them is this stamp that we got at the ticket counter. You can collect stamps and keep it as a memory of visiting Japan. And there are too many deers here, but they are wild. You’re not allowed to interact with them. But yeah, you can see them here. Wait. [Music] Love me. [Music] La [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la. D [Music] la [Music] doo doo d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d down. [Music] Taking the return ferry to where to majima. From there again we’ll take train number two. And now we are going to atomic dome the most awaited scene of Hiroshima. boarding this again to go to the dome. [Music] You can pause this and read the history of how the atomic bomb changed the whole livelihood of Hiroshima or else you can also hear it from the survivor. He will stand here and tells the story of that dreadful day. [Music] Is that where you should be? development of Japan stands a testament to the fact that 80 years ago, even if there were nuclear bombings, you should see how the country came up and rebuilt itself with everything that’s high-tech and everything that’s digital. I think that’s a genuine country’s empowerment done with the ADOM structure heading towards the peace park. [Music] All [Music] right. Heat up [Music] here. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Yeah. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] So, we came out of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and honestly it was very very uncomfortable after the point of time I couldn’t even record anymore because I was not feeling like it. Anyway, we did not have any lunch and it’s already 5:16. So we came to this place which is famous here which is known as the cocoa ichibana which is famous for all types of curries. So uh fish curry, brown curry, pork curry, every any type of curries you name it, they have it. So I’ve ordered a stewed shrimp curry for myself and my husband has ordered a lightly fried chicken curry along with some salad. Waiting for the food to come. [Music] Entering this place to have dinner right now. Googled it out. Don’t know how it is going to be. But let’s have the food and then review. [Music] done with the dinner and by God what an amazing yum ramen that was. We even asked them to not give us the pork broth and rather the chicken one and it was delicious. It was just heavenly. That’s it from Hiroshima. Tomorrow we leave for Osaka. So as we keep going I’ll let you know. Till then if you like this channel do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
