World First Mt. Fuji Starlink Livestream Hike! Sunrise Stream!

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Okay, now we should be back. Sorry, it was starting on the wrong Wi-Fi. We’re back. The Starlink.
Is this on Twitch?
It’s on YouTube.
Yeah. Yeah. Hey,
live stream. Yeah, live stream. follow. Don’t be go don’t go promoting your own boo. Mods ban this guy. It is just a line up to the line up to the summit. I’m going to go very slow and steady a little windy, but it’s really not that cold, but I’m going to take a million breaks. Good morning, everybody. There’s just a line. Still very dark. How are the legs feeling? Roasted. Toasted. Let’s see. We’re at 12,000 ft. But I mean, I got some sleep, but you know, yeah, I had to update it. Basically, they want you to start at 2:30 instead. Oh man, I’m carrying too much weight. Happy fourth. Yeah. Yeah, I’m at a very bad pace. I don’t think you’re really going to miss much. It is going to take me a while. pretty good. Little bit of sunrise. You okay? Windy but not cold. Hands might get a little chilled. I’m just going to go stretch by stretch rather than try to keep an even space. Get to the next stretch, take a little break. Next stretch, take a little break. It’s just a massive line of people. Nice. Whole line of people. See people started earlier already way up there. Heat. Heat. Yeah, definitely not doing this again. The Starlink might work at 12,000 ft, but my ass doesn’t Oh, the rock is super loose, too. I don’t know if you can you can’t see the stars at all, but are we there yet? No. Can see all the way down to the base. Yeah, we’re going to keep on keeping on. Rock is super loose. Just going to slow and steady. I did make it to the hut last night. pretty okay. So, a little late. We’re just doing it leg by leg. We lost some shook because they Yo, what up, Az? Yeah, it’s just a line of people. Here’s your second reminder to follow. No, no, no, no, no. Stop doing
y trying to promote his own channel. True here. If he shows up in chat, I’m banning his ass. Let’s go. leg by leg. Basically, I’m just going I go to each bend and I take a break at the bend. Otherwise, I’m just not going to progress as it zigzags up. They say it’s like two hours to the top like this, but it’s actually not that much distance. It’s just a lot of vertical. This backpack weighs too much. I’m going to be taking a lot of breaks. Let’s see what the sign says. 8.5 station 200 m. That’s 8.5. There’s like groups going all up. Dude, it’s not easy. And this is 3,200 m. So, the air is thin up here. These guys pass. I think that’s generally considered frowned upon. hiking groups. See, they’re all down the mountain. That’s That’s one of those read the room type thing. You cannot keep it.
Yeah. I mean, yeah, when I had Wi-Fi at work, so follow behind these guys. Let my breakfast digest a little. Having someone set pace for me is a little is useful. Just follow them. Traffic literally gets backed up. How far to the top? Hour and a half.
I guess we all two hours maybe. 8.5 station is right here. So there should be a map. It was hard. And yeah, there’s literally traffic jams. You got I’m just letting these guys set pace for me. And yeah, I had dinner at 6:00 p.m. and then did some posts and stuff, but I got in bed at 7 and I was out. Just lights out. How many people estimated? I think 4,000 is the limit. for you.
Um, not the best. I slept maybe an hour and a half.
Yeah, maybe.
Y’all y’all went a different time, though. So,
1.5,000 to
top. So, we went I tried not to complain that much because I had an aisle seat, but the guy next to me was like a middle age, probably three dad, so he’s like really self-conscious of like honestly sleeping kind of like my body. All right, here’s the 8.5 station. Going to take a break. Just cut. Okay. 70 minutes to the summit they say. Altitude 3,450 m. Um, I am using a 42,000 milliamp hour. I think it’s Ankor is the brand. It’s like a $300 battery, but I charged it overnight. It’s back to full, which is pretty nice. There’s only 20 watts of power from the outlet, but it got it all the way to full, so I got another 6 hours on this. I don’t think I’m going to stream the way down completely, but we’ll see what we can do. Vertigo people, be warned. Let me see if I can give you guys the straight down. They say 70 minutes to hop, but it’s going to take me probably 120. I’m not setting good pace. They had this like crappy little bento for dinner last night and I swear nothing has ever tasted that good. I did not get enough to eat yesterday. They say it’s colder at the top. Wow. I think this might actually be the highest up I’ve ever been. a basin is 13,000 ft. I’m not sure what that is in meters, but I think the the summit of Fuji is higher. Oh, that’s devious. This guy’s going down. Is that the descent path? No. Maybe it is the descent path. Oh, it is. Okay. Yeah, it’s really dark, but it will get bright. It’ll get light soon enough. So, sunrise is at like 4:00. Why would you be going down now? I missed the sunrise at the top. I don’t get it. Can’t. Huh. I don’t know. That’s weird. Seems like this is the path for sure. Okay. Oo man, that rock is so loose. Yeah, I’m kind of glad I did the extra long hike yesterday as opposed to doing 3 hours in the morning. Dude said, “Fuck it. I’m done.” Honestly, maybe I feel like it’s pure some cost falacki though. It’s steep here. Like if you go this far, you got to go to the top, right? Big rock stem. No, I don’t think so, dude. Mr. Wall clip had to reset the run. So true. Let’s get up to the bend at least. Okay. So, I’m doing basically Pipa flag. Now, I brought Pipa and and Kisha in plush form. So, I’ll have them. But, like I said, my ass is not making Amazing pace. You guys can’t see it because of the exposure, but the stars out here are pretty incredible. I don’t think they’ll really show up. Yeah. Okay. Like I said, my goal is to go bend to bend. And once I start on one of these paths, I just keep going until I get to the bend. Then I take a break, but I don’t try not to stop in the middle of one of these if I can help it. Just so I’m always making a set amount of progress. I can go bend to bend. It’s just a matter of zigzagging up. Nice. Nice. Ascend to the bend. Yeah. So, my next big trip actually is like the complete opposite of this. I’m going to uh Ishigakiote in September, which is literally like one of the most remote islands in Japan. It is as far away from Ohio as it’s physically possible to be in Japan. Here comes point. It’s good. cookies. See?
Yeah. Air is really thin. The sign says it takes 70 minutes, but I think it’s definitely going to take 2 hours. Okay. Okay. There’s a break. There’s my pace setter. Yeah. Somebody needs to see that TV show that I got interviewed for. I’m kind of interested. It’s called like Kayete. I posted it on Twitter. or X. Sorry, Eli. I’m using Starlink, so I got to call it X. Okay, another bends to bend. Stop until I reach the turn. All right. Turn reached. See the lights up there. What time is sunrise? Um, let’s see. It’s 3:05. So, they said 4:30, so like an hour and a halfish. It’ll start really sunrising. I feel you. But if I’m advertising for the man, you got to respect his naming. I do think he should have kept it as Twitter. Make X the parent company like Alphabet and then just call it Twitter. Some water. Bro has been playing majong. All right, another stretch. I added even more duct tape to the setup. It might not even be bad to get caught in this traffic jam cuz I can just kind of progress when they do. I think this pack is twice as heavy as it needs to be. Oh yeah, I agree. Toast. Thanks. QQV QL. That’s a Neon style name. We should have some amazing footage from the top. Let’s see if I can do two stretches. That would be big. Oh wow. It just keeps going. Wind is so nice. Take a break. I mean, it’s pitiful that meant it’s just rice, thin curry, tiny bit of potato salad, and like a the Japanese style hamburg steak. It tasted amazing. Okay, let’s keep going. This curry was really thin. You basically had to drink it. section steep. little break. Strong legs today, huh, dude? I’d like to be I’m slow and steadying it again. Yeah. What’s up? Can I go for for this. Do you How long till sunrise? Uh, it’s like an hour and a half. Hour and a halfish, I think. All right, next bend. Just talking about that guy. He said he’s came from Osaka. His dad wanted to climb, but he had a one lung had like lung cancer, so he couldn’t do it. So, he’s climbing for his dad instead like on his behalf. That’s if I was from Kai. Okay, another bend. Yeah, I’m sure he’s going to take a lot of pictures. I can’t stand too close to these rocks or I’ll lose signal. Just water. Okay, let’s check the sign. Ninth station coming up. 200 m. Mount Fuji 600 m. Oh, we are almost there. 600 m. Okay, so we’re not making that terrible of time. It’s like 600 m vertical, but you know. 14-hour plane ride is rough. My mom did the trip recently and I think the plane ride is honestly the worst part of it. Dealing with all the airport stuff. Sun is rising. Look for my to the east. The horn of helmet will sound in the deep one last time. You’ve inadvertently reminded me of things. That’s all that’s in my mind now. Okay, another bend. Wow. Yeah. 431. That’s when it starts, right? That’s rough on people. See, a lot of people leave most of their stuff at their hotel where they’re where they’re staying and then just carry minimal stuff up to the top. But I can’t do that. All my heavy stuff has to come with me. This is where I’m having those flashing pen lights. Mark the front of the group and the back of the group. Oh yeah, that’s a great climb, dude. Love I love fishing. I’ve been there like six times. Follow these guys at least to the bend. Remember to slap a like on the video, too. Helps YouTube share it around. I think yesterday’s video did great. Let’s get to the bench. I don’t know how they’re measuring 200 m. Okay. 40 or 50. It’s probably a little colder than that. But I like the cold. So to me, it’s comfy. You could say the cold never bothers me anyway. You’re allowed to shoot me for that one. Feels like maybe 40 high30s. Yeah. Summer enjoyers, man. I don’t know about that Ice cold room with nice warm blankets, bro. That’s That’s where it’s at. Steaming hot room. No. All right, make it to the next bend. You can see how far up we’ve come. The hike around the caldera or the rim at the top is closed, but we should be able to get some good pictures and stuff from the top, especially if you’re not made it to third. Wow. Still the way it is. Not sure if Alaska has these access. No. You can see the sunrise just peeking out. I chose it because it’s a new moon. And Ishiaki is a dark sky location. So if you go during the new moon, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eye. And I’ve always wanted to do that. thinnest hint of sunrise. I think we’re getting close. Okay. Still a lot to go. Okay, that sounds awesome. I don’t know, dude. I mean, it doesn’t even start to get cold in Japan until October, if that. September is still basically summer, at least in Tokyo, Kanagawa area. I’m an Ohio L. What time is that? Okay, basically 3:30 some water. Okay, make it to the next bend. That’s the goal. Next bend. I think there’s probably only seven or eight more bends to go. And I missed living in Japan. I missed like the total solar eclipse and stuff. It sucks. But I have cats. I can’t leave them alone for that long. There’s a clear gate. Wind just picking up. Okay. Oh man, it’s got to be close here. Somebody’s cheering. Somebody check where that uh pony gate is. compared to the summit. I don’t know how much longer I have. Okay, Mr. B Yosu. Thank you, Aussie, my man. It’s kind of wild that I can literally just ask chat like, “Yo, go check Google Maps for me, bro.” Oh, it goes a ways up from there. Try to do this real. All right, we made the bend. That’s the ninth station. I got to take a break, too. Okay, I’m just going turn to turn. Every turn I take a break, then I just go straight to the next turn. No, Jay, we’re getting to the top. We’re not continuing next week. There’s no checkpoints here. All right, I’m going to follow the mass of people as a wind break. I forgot to save state. I can’t see them too far up after that. So, I wonder where it goes from there. I mean, I hear people cheering, so something. All right, feeling a little more energy from my breakfast now. See if we can do two bends Sorry. Should be a sign here. It says it’s uh past the 8.5 station. Should be pretty close to the top. There’s really nowhere to stop here. Just going to keep going. Not there. I have done a lot of big hikes. I just didn’t have time with all the streaming stuff. I know you have to eat. I did a 12-hour hike in Yakima. I ate I forced myself to eat more breakfast, beef jerky and all that. I just did not have time to stop. Must be a little further down then. I can make good progress here though. Looks like it still goes up a ways, guys. I get it. Some birds from there, right?
Yeah. It’s a little different when you’re trying to juggle a stream. If I was going on my own pace and I didn’t have to bother with like all the gear it would be different. I get it. You don’t got to tell me. Okay. Says 35 minutes to the top. Nice station. So, it’s probably more like 50ish. Almost there. Japan. Sunrise is quite early, but we still have an hour. Mai shine. Yeah, I think so. It’s the ninth station. Big old line. Also, what up, duck? See? Yeah. No, look at the line below us. Roads are not supposed to be up past, but I guess it’s fine. There’s guides there. It’s whatever. 11 more bends to go. That’s actually really useful information. Thank you. I can count them down. Yeah, it is lit. It’s literally peak. Literally peak. I’ll show you guys the line up to the top again for depends on where you live. America still has daylight savings time so they don’t have the sunrise at 4:00 a.m. Oh, you didn’t need to tell me that, man. All right, let’s keep going. I feel my second wind hitting, but maybe that’s just altitude sickness. Oh, that will be fun. Oh yeah, this goes up. Yeah, these are very cool. He’s on it. All right. Oh, I’m never doing this again. I’m not giving up. There’s no way. I’m right I’m right here. I’m just taking a break. Getting some water. Hopefully. Yeah, it’s 34 43. So, okay. Feeling these guys pass. You bully climbed it twice. How would you do that? They banned that. Here’s your extremely real minded. Tone it down. Okay. Next time. Oh yeah, dude. I’m also carrying way too much Little symbol. I think I can see the summit up there. It’s definitely getting brighter. They should just have a zipline from the top. Just build a really tall tower and then zipline down. No problem. Okay, another bed. Whoa, the sea of clouds. We are at 3,300 ft or 3,300 m, I think. Maybe a little higher. Okay, next bend. Almost there. Think we have seven bends left. Let me see if I can keep up with this group. I have my poles in my backpack for the way down, too. Yeah. Thank you. starting this.
Oh. Yeah, take a break. That’s an amazing shot. Huh? Come in. Look at that. That guy’s GPS just said we’re 3,600 m. I don’t see the moon. I think it’s already set. My shadow looks ridiculous. Almost there. He said for the 20th time. Let’s go. I know. Let’s go online. starting. Oh yeah. Yeah. Okay. How much room at the top? I’m sure it’s bound to be packed. Oh,
you getting me hung all the time, man. We are Death Stranding. It’s me, John. Death Stranding. Oh, wow. That gets steep. Well, the wind stopped which is nice. But I’m filming horizontal video. Monster. Oh, love it. 25 minutes. 25 minutes. We saw a sign said 35 minutes 20 minutes ago. So pace is bad, but not that bad. Let’s go. Let’s go. I’m definitely using my hands here. Go. We need Yeah, there’s a kid. All right. Should have trying to keep people moving so it doesn’t get too congested, too. CJ must be all about 20 minutes.
20 minutes. Okay. I just got to take a little break here. Go. You got a knife. Can I come back?
Are you okay? Let’s go. Sorry. The view is amazing. Are you okay? Is it okay? Just a little bit more. Pretty steep. That dude’s moving. Okay. Yeah. Oh my god. I mean, I looked at the sign that said 70 minutes and I thought 70 minutes is definitely going to take me 2 hours. And it looks like I was about right. I think that’s the top. 70 minutes. 70 minutes ago. Yeah. You said 70 minutes. 70 minutes ago. There’s some real scramble. Okay. Need to get some water. Okay, there we go. Oh, what up, Dash? It is lava rock. Mount Fuji’s volcanic still active. Oh yeah, I know. dodged from way back, man. Good friend of mine. It’s the Dash Dashington. Okay. Haven’t convinced him to come out and visit yet, though. Out. Okay. Shit’s vertical, man. It is okay. Okay. here. here. Blackie. Just got to keep making some forward progress. better. So yeah, we got plenty of battery. Phone battery is at 63%. So no issues. Another two hours at least on it. And I got a spare. Wow. Nah, I’m not really into that sort of thing. I wouldn’t be able to take it home on my motorcycle anyway. There’s the top. Man, it’s a slo. I mean, I slept at 11,000 ft last night, so there’s a little prep. Not enough for full acclimatization, but some. It’s not too too bad. Okay, I feel you. I mean, I’ve been doing cardio hikes to prepare for the last month and a half or so, but I mean, there’s only so much we can do. Yeah. For this path up, everyone’s on the same line. It’s dangerous otherwise. It’s also it’s the most popular because it’s the easiest. Yeah. The other paths are less traveled but more technical. And I did not want to do that. Almost there now. Yeah, that’s the Sebastian line. It’s much nicer. I I’ve been on it a little bit. Okay. We’re so close. Okay. starting. There’s the top. I turn off my headlight. Almost there. Okay, this isn’t so bad now. Going back to my bend to bend plan. Okay. Yeah. There she is, lads. The top and the world below. Give me a minute here. Jeez. Let my heart rate come down a little. Hey, I got water, dude. I know. I get it. This is not my first hiking rodeo. All right, let’s get to it. Nice warm corn drink, dude. Mods ban this guy. They probably have a vending machine at the top with that Once I get up there, I can set my backpack down. I’ll have great signal and I’ll be able to film and all that stuff. We’re almost there. It’s doing a radio call. Oh, it’s one of the guides. They should put a McDonald’s up there. Should have a loss. Hi.
I think there’s a separate trail for going down though. Yeah, they just bring everything up. Like they have porters like real death stranding style. That’s like where that style of carrying stuff comes from. Okay. Pickle. stairs right at the end. There’s a toy. Okay. Not quite. Almost there. Have to get to the sign that says you’re at the top before it counts. Wow. Oh, this is close enough. Let’s head back. Can you imagine? If I had unlimited money, I would. There she is, boys. Mount Fuji officially the top to chuck. Now I got to pull out some friends I brought along. Roio, thank you. D, thank you. I’ll put you guys back on stickers. We made it here. We got to find a good spot to get some pictures. What a view. Oh, wow. Oh, I have to wedge my way in here. Oh, broadcasting now YouTube. Hi Look everybody, you’re on TV. Chat’s on TV. Don’t say anything rude. Thanks, Jary. Thanks, Shaka. Something rude. Let me see if I can wedge myself in here. I got to pull out Pipa and and Kisha. So, I know subscribe. So soft. Thank you, dude. I’ll get you guys on stickers. Yeah, it’s Asah TV. They’re filming me. I’m not going to mean that. I don’t know. Hi. Hi. Okay, I got to set my pack down. I’ll still have internet. It’s connected. So, I just got to shuck the pack down and then pull out the fox and the pipa. All right. Oh, this thing’s so heavy. So heavy. I’m trying not to swear. There’s children here. No, I’m sorry. I I try to watch my language, but this is heavy. Yeah. It’s the battery more than anything else. Oh my god. Such a weight off my shoulders. Here we go, guys. Here’s the setup that took us to Mount Fuji. Here, I’ll uh I’ll see if I can get you guys out a little bit. Oh yeah, it wouldn’t be complete if I wasn’t wearing. It’s probably reversed on this. My Sports Club Cobalt tank top, of course. Yeah, it’s reverse. But of course, let’s see if I can wedge my way in here. See if I can get a spot to the top. Let me see. I got to find the the sign that says the uh height. Oh, Mount Fuji. Oh, that’ll work. That’ll work. The top of Mount Fuji. I’ll screen cap that. Okay, now I got to pull out Kan Pippa like I said I would stuff them in here. One second. Let me put you guys down for a second here. Benefits of using a tripod. the other day. Water. Sorry, I got a bunch of stuff. battery just for a second. Spare battery. Okay, the gang’s all here. We can choose again. Uh, where’s a good spot? Time to cringe. I don’t care, dude. I told Kieran and Pipa I’d do it. I’m going to do it. Like I give a It’s fine by me. I just need something that says like Mount Fuji on it or it doesn’t work. That’s the problem. Here they are. Uh, let’s see. Just chuck them off the top there. But that seems like a waste. I think I got to go by like the sign. Oh, here. I’ll just put them next to my Starling for a second and get that shot. There they are. And of course, it wouldn’t be a trip without Gondola. The boy at the top of the world. Everyone loves Gondola. Now I just need to find a spot to put these for the so I can somebody grab a screen cap and tweet it at them. I think the I can’t get too far away from the Starlink or I’ll lose internet connection. So, that’s the issue. This should work just like right in front of this sign that says the top of Mount Fuji. Uh, it doesn’t look That’s the thing. It doesn’t look that good. I want to get them on like a rail or something. It’s so crowded up here. Let’s see. Someone does shoot while I hold. No, I don’t want to be in the shot. That’s the I just want to have them up here. Think if I get a low angle here, this will work. Yeah. Here we go. There we go. Oh, there’s one. It’s a little hard to do. See if we go here. Yeah. Here we go. Top of Mount Fuji to freeze for their many crimes. I’m trying to get a view. It’s just like in the middle of everything. There we go. There we go.
Hey, Don. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. There should be a stone post. Yeah. I just don’t want to be too too far away from the Starlink cuz I think it’ll disconnect if I’m too far away. It should be okay. We’ll try it. It’s hard to hold both of them with like one hand. Let me see if my connection cuts out here. Rip. Did it rip? This is right here. Okay. Is are we back? Okay. Cuz I can’t tell. Hey, there you are. And so I just buffered. Okay. Okay. Oh, here we go. Here’s the stone.
Of course. You guys were so glitched for a second there. There we go. See if I can get them at the top. There you go. Told you. Okay,
now I really got to take a break. Or I’m going to die. Well, that’s the nice thing about the Starling is it’s Wi-Fi, so I could just set the backpack there, walk around and I totally connected. I don’t have to be close at all. Now I stuffed them back in the bag. Back in your hole. See if I can get a Thank you very much, Tom. Thank you to everybody for all the support. donations, memberships, watching. We’re going to keep going for a while. I’m going to wander around over that way a little bit, but I got to get some water and mess with my stuff a little. Kind of point you this way. You got the live view of Mount Fuji. stuff is back in the bag. Somebody tag Pipa and Kisha. Tell them I did it. Also, happy birthday to Kisha. They took up so much space in my damn bag.
Oh my god, dude. So much space. 61% battery right now. I think my mic might die though. There’s people in space blankets. But it’s not cold up here at all. I’m like overeating. All right, let’s get you guys more view. Are we dead? Did I bring the corn soup? No. Yeah, I’ll give you guys the classic streamer view. Oh, yeah. I think the mic died. Mic for sure died. All right. Oh, it’s fine. Really? I’m showing no power on it on the road wireless. Pull this up like we’re Simba. And I got to do the I got to do this one. The classic. Look at me. I’m so important. at the top of the world. Here it is. Yeah, the view is amazing. I think a basin is like 13,000 ft or something, so maybe a little higher than this. But the sunrise from up here is amazing. Thank you, Az. You are my strongest soldier.
Yeah, it’s good. Now do push-ups. I’m not doing push-ups up here. Um I don’t think you can see Tokyo from this side. Maybe. Um, it is currently 4:40 a.m. 4:40 a.m. I want to walk a little ways up that way. All right, grab my bag again. I can’t wait to hike five hours down and then ride my motorcycle home. What a good what good decisions I’ve made today and yesterday. I’m glad I made it to the top though. For sure. For sure. You’re going to hear me grunt a lot as I reconfigure everything. I think you take a different path down, though. Yeah, I’m I’m going to be careful when I go down for sure.
I might get something to eat here, though. In fact, I probably will once I cut the stream. The signal of strength is fantastic up here, though. Hey, somebody tag Elon. I don’t think anybody’s ever brought a Starlink Mini up here. Oh, wow. The view from over here is even better. I should have come over here first. Holy, bro. I should have come over here first. Oh, wow. Look at that. You can see all the way down. Thoughtful gondola. I already packed him in the bag. I’d have to get him out again. I’ll get I’ll get gondola pictures after I cut the stream. just static ones because obviously I’m gonna take some pictures while I’m up here. But look at that. You can see the path all the way down. In fact, that’s where we came from right there. Like that is where I stayed. All right. See you, Don. Thank you very much, dude. I’ll get you a sticker. I’ll make sure to go through and get everybody a sticker who donated and subscribed. Thank you very much. No, it’s a um It’s a world heritage location, so they really don’t want you to take stuff. And I don’t really want to. Let’s go up there a little bit and see. It’s crazy that people are like cold. To me, it doesn’t feel cold at all. I’m like, if anything, I’m too warm. Oh, some people want souvenirs and all that. That’s cool. People filming all sorts of stuff. Oh, wow. Okay. Oh, you can see into the caldera. No, this I stayed at one of the highest substations. You can’t stay up this high. So they all of them have walked almost as much as me. Look at that. That’s the inside of the volcano. It says it says keep away. Kishi, but everybody’s over there, man. So, I don’t know. Nobody cares. I guess I don’t want to be like the one like just walking over the rope that says keep out. I don’t know. Seems like mostly tourists, but they don’t seem to be telling them like don’t do that. I’m just going to ask these guys. Hi, good morning. Oh, okay. No problem. Okay. Sorry, I have a question. There’s like a bunch of people just crossing the rope that says keep keep out. Is it okay to go up there or Okay.
I was not sure if it was like a temporary thing or Okay. You want to respect the rules?
Yeah. Okay, fair enough. down. Same way down.
Everybody’s just ignoring the rules. I’m not going to do that. Like, I don’t know. I feel like you have to be kind of an to just be like, “Ah, it. I’m going to go anyway.” They’re not stopping them, but at the same time, I don’t want to be like, “Ah, yeah, whatever, man. It’s like on the one hand, everybody’s just over there, so it’s like obviously not that big a deal, but I don’t know. If I’m live streaming, I’m kind of representing myself. So, I don’t want to be that guy. All right, let’s get you guys one more. really nice view and then I’m going to take some pictures and get some food and the one rule following American streamer in Japan. Yeah. Don’t ever let anybody tell you I didn’t follow the damn rules. This is the peak.
We are at the peak here. I’ll get you guys more top of I mean, it literally says Tati Kimchi and keep away, which is like
I don’t know. It’s kind of clear. Yes, this is my first time. First time at the top of Mount Fuzzy. It’s quite busy. Oh my god, there’s such a line for the restaurant. No, thank you guys for showing up. We got 51 people. That’s way more than I expected to be honest. So there’s top of Mount Fuji. I’ll get some more sea of clouds here for you. We’re going to make this into a good vibe because I can tell you I’m not I’m not doing this hike again. This was rough, man. Yeah. Here we go. Thank you, Rya. Oh, first live. I’m not sure if it’s the first. I think it’s definitely the first Starlink live stream from the top for sure. I don’t think anybody’s live streamed their hike up Mount Fushu before. Yeah, here’s the path we came up this morning. Thanks for being here, guys. There’s a path. You can see like right there, if it would focus, is where I stayed. Uh, using inverter like a wall plug between the battery and Starlight. No, it’s a direct. So, I’ll show you. So, the battery plugs directly into the Starlink here with a USBC to plug converter. So, it’s a 42,000 amp or milliamp mill hour, whatever it is, um, battery, which is definitely the heaviest. It gives me about 6 hours of live stream time, but it’s uh just USBC to plug like barrel plug for the Starlink. Theoretically, I could run it off of a smaller one, but it wouldn’t last nearly as long. Yeah, not too much in terms of efficiency. I do have um Oh, yeah. small staircase with the tour gate off to the left. Let’s go check it out. I do have um Skinwalker Supply Company. If you follow him on Twitter, he designed a 3D uh he 3D printed. The altitude is getting to me. 3D printed a custom carrying case for the Starlink. Unfortunately, it was not able to show up in time for this stream, but I should have it for the next ones. So when that shows up, it’ll be a lot more stable than all this uh duct tape. Oh man, the view from everywhere you turn, there’s just an amazing view. Look, you can see the lake. I think that’s like my Look at that, dude. Dude, I’m not h I’m not doing this hike again unless I can make my setup much lighter. Wow. Oh, it’s Yamanak. Oh, is that like Yamanaka? I go there a lot. SpaceX. Yeah. All right. So, Okay. Wow. Just making sure I wasn’t like showing them on stream, but they came from the seventh station. I came from the eighth station. So, they did the the reverse of me. So, they made yesterday’s hike easier and today’s hike a lot harder. They left at 11:30 p.m. There’s the Mount Fuji top. You could probably see Tokyo. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to see. I mean, I’ll get a little further over here. It’s kind of cloudy. Wow. When you get away from the crowd, it’s Oh, wow. The view from up here is insane. Cool. Yeah, they said it would be clear and you get the sea of clouds effect. Look, you can see them kind of sitting. You can see the the clouds just sitting between the mountains. They like settle down. Oh, there’s almost nobody over this way. Wow, this area is close. That’s ominous. Look at that ropes cut. People are taking pictures. Yeah, sun is really beautiful. So, you used to be you can hike the the caldera all the way around, but it’s closed right now. I don’t know if you go back down the way you came up, though. Yeah, this is well worth the hike. Well worth it. Looks like they use like the volcanic bricks and like cement. Man, that and the the frame rate has been just great. Phone stays nice and cold. Doesn’t overheat up here. That’s crazy. That’s just a crazy view. Look how steep it is. Like look when I tilt you guys. That’s the angle. Yo, what up, Alia? Yeah, the with the blue on the side here is like you can see the colors of the sun breaking through. Same time next week. Yeah, man. Oh, this I’ll do a second stream for everybody who missed the first one. Sorry you you didn’t show up for this one. We’ll just do a redo. Oh, look at the my silhouette. I like that, dude. That’s that’s cyberpunk. I like it. There we go. There’s the shot. Actually, let me let me set the uh tripod down here. Try not to back off. Got to angle it up a little. There we go. Oh, that’s cool. right behind us. I like that. That’s nice. that as the thumbnail. Death stranded. Yeah. Oh, I I like the sunlight darkening me out. I thought that was cool. Turning into just like a silhouette at the top. City out to the eighth. diverges. So it makes me has a separate down path. So it’s not this one. Is it It’s a different one. It looks like people are going down this way, but maybe it splits at a different spot. Yeah. POV, I got your nose. It looks like people are going down that way now. There’s one lake there and then another over there. Throw it down. The voices the voices are telling me there is the temptation to just to just yeet. extreme legs. This was quite the hike. I’ve I’ve done some long hikes before like Yakima did like a eight hour hike, but it was all flat. This is all uphill. This was roughing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The the call of the avoid. Do it for the bit at prism. I’m not sure. The the beam from the sun is crazy. Yeah, Prism Live is the app. I know. The view is kind of insane. It’s just especially when you see how far you go. Like how far I actually hiked up from the fifth station. It’s kind of a lot. I think it’s like 2,000 mters of vertical. All right, let’s see where we’re going on the way home trail head line station. Okay, I think you do go the same way down. Another really clear view of this. Yeah, it looks like there’s a bit of a bit of a commotion going down. A lot of people. All right, let’s uh I’m going to go back to the that nice quiet spot
and we’ll end the stream there on a quiet comfy note. Air thinner. Oh yeah, it’s way thinner up here. Way way thinner. We’re at I think 3600 ft at the top. It’s definitely thinner. I slept at 11,000 ft. Diet hair. Yeah. I like how quiet it is over here. I’ll get you another Let’s do another slow pan. It almost doesn’t look real. You’re just so high up. And I’m going to swap to rear camera. Set you guys down over here. I should probably angle it up a little more. There we go.
Okay, lads. That’s going to do it for the stream today. Thank you very very much for joining me for these two streams both yesterday and this morning. I got sunburned. I’m tired. I’m dying of al altitude sickness. But this is very, very fun. This is exactly what I wanted to use the Starlink for. For everybody who donated and became a member, I will get you a sticker on the Starlink. But I’m going to take it easy, recharge a little bit. and then uh make my way back down. I’ll take a bunch of pictures and stuff. So, thank you. I’ll see you guys in the next one. Bye.

We’re doing a two day 7+ hour livestream from the 5th station up the Yoshida trail of Mt. Fuji where I’ll take a break and stay over night to do the second livestream on July 5th morning JST . We’ll be taking the ⁨@KirscheVerstahl⁩ and ⁨@PipkinPippa⁩ plushies to the top to freeze for their many crimes.

  1. Thank you for streaming your journey up to the top of Mt. Fuji. It was fun to watch you making history. The plushies were the cherry on top.
