this is part two of our Hakona Japan day trip from Oakadani Using our Fuji Hakona pass we took the Hakona ropeway to Tonga station The Hakona ropeway operates between 9:00 a.m to 4:15 p.m Unfortunately people with health conditions are not allowed to ride the ropeway due to volcanic gas The ropeway travels in slow pace with minimal movements The cable car is spacious and clean It can fit up until 18 people We recommend taking the Hakon ropeway since it offers scenic views of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi In Tonga station you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Ashi by the shore or take the Hakon sightseeing cruise which navigates through Lake Ashley in a pirate ship
