[Music] hi everyone today I will share with you all the yummy food I had during my 6 days five nights in Kumamoto let’s go woohoo i stayed at two different hotels and locations in Kumamoto for more information price and hotel reviews you can watch my other videos in my Japan playlist kumamoto station just a few minutes walk from hotel the gate Kumamoto it has many eeries supermarket and huge mall next to it very convenient food are not very cheap but still affordable i just arrived from Nagasaki by bus so I was very hungry tired and cold i wanted to eat my comfort food meat hot clear soup vegetable and rice for dinner so I walked around and decided to eat at Kou Fuku this place was busy with many locals and they have lots of yummy food in their menu as I wanted to have my comfort food I ordered niku su nbe with tofu and beef tendant no vegetable but tofu will do [Music] [Laughter] i was happy with my order meat was so tender and yummy and the soup not oily not too salty just well balanced savory light and warm eat it together with soft delicious tofu wow so good seriously delicious and satisfying next still at Kumamoto station this itery was fully booked last night i managed to get a seat during lunchtime i wanted to try their fish head fish head comes with chawamushi and miso soup small side dishes and rice [Music] it was nice but fish head was a bit too sweet for me another very popular itery at Kumamoto station after my day trip to Takihog it was very late and I was super hungry but there’s not many option left thankfully KA still open and there’s no queue i quickly ordered the original pork ramen and I added additional toi bean sprout ramen arrived pretty fast soup was thick slightly oily salty and savory mix well it together with noodle and bean sprout yummy [Music] my other favorite food from Kumamoto station ready food from supermarket really very good definitely must try and eat [Music] i was visiting Kumamoto Castle so I wanted to eat at nearby Sakura Noaba Josian it’s a bit touristy but I’m a tourist [Music] so many food options and so very long queue everywhere the one with shortest skew and with interesting food i wanted to try ramen not just any kind of ramen black garlic oil ramen their own secret black garlic oil and original black seasoning interesting right my ramen arrived and it looks yummy noodle was perfectly cooked soup was a bit oily and salty overall it was nice [Music] next Sakura Machi Mall and Bas terminal in Kumamoto lots of yummy food food court two restaurants so many options [Music] i saw all you can eat meat and vegetable restaurant so I decided to give it a try [Music] it was yummy and fun i get to try different kind of meat two different type of soup base and I love the salad bar especially the cherry tomatoes so yummy overall it was nice but not cheap [Music] umamoto Shopping Arcade my favorite place to eat very near a few minutes walk from Sakura Machi Bus Terminal and Mall and Mitsui Garden Hotel where I stayed for two nights the place is huge with many many iteries shops and interesting things to see and buy i wanted to try something different food that I have not tried or eaten so far as I was not very hungry I ordered udon bulldog tempura and katsu minion dessert and free drinks all for 890 yen i saw bulldog in many menu before but I never tried it according to Google bulldog roots is rich in antioxidants and many other health benefits for me budok was nice and interesting tastes like very malt jinseng udon was perfectly cooked soup was light and yummy mini katsu and rice was also yummy overall yummy and satisfying and I get to try something new very happy [Music] next my favorite place to eat in Kumamoto Matsuya Japan fast food chain it’s self-service very easy there’s English menu and options so I know what I ordered i ordered grilled kalby beef set with pork soup come with rice salad and free water there’s option for regular rice large rice extra large rice all at the same price great for rice bucket like me [Music] less than 5 minutes my food was ready and it smell and looks so yummy very generous portion by the way their bestseller beef ball is at 430 yen mine was slightly more expensive because I wanted pork soup instead of the usual miso soup and I really very happy with the soup really very good lots of tofu radish pork meat so savory warm and comforting worth every yen and the grilled beef wow really good well marinated full of flavor perfectly cooked tender meaty w so yummy and the salad simple just cabbage and corn but with some sauce so yummy really one of my favorite meal very yummy with satisfying meat rice soup and vegetable all for 1,50 yen so good unfortunately or fortunately I tried their food on my last day my last meal in Kumamoto if I had this on my first or second day in Kumamoto this video will be very short as I will eat here many times so many options very yummy food satisfying filling cheap convenient
