hello world welcome to Hidden Paradise in Japan i’m Mits today I’m going to show you one of the three beautiful bridges in Japan and also show you beautiful Sakura Chelly Brosam there it’s one day trip from Hiroshima called King Taiko Bridge heat [Music] heat [Music] heat heat [Music] it’s windy but the weather is nice let’s across this beautiful bridge hidden in the quiet town of Iwakni one day trip from Hiroshima lies a bridge that seems to float across the water like a dream it’s Kintao Bridge with five graceful uden arches no nails and over 300 years of history King Taiko isn’t just a bridge it’s a masterpiece of engineering and artistry this bridge was built in 1673 during the arrow period it was originally constructed to connect the base of Iwakuni castle with the town and to withstand the floods that had destroyed earlier crossings oh beautiful Sakura or cherry blossoms the design ingenious crafted without a single nail in its arches it uses interlocking wood pieces and iron clamps to give it a strength and flexibility the result is both strength enough to survive floods and beautiful enough to inspire poets and painters today Kako is a national treasure rebuilt faithfully after typhoon damage in the 1950s and again using traditional methods in 2004 the bridge remains a proud symbol of Iwakni every spring Japan transforms into wonderful of pink petals and one of the most magical places to witness this transformation is right here Kintao Bridge during peak bloom this area turns into hanami or cherry blossom viewing paradise [Music] families couples and friends gather beneath the trees with the picnic blankets bento boxes and the sake celebrating the fleeting beauty of the season the sakula bloom for just a short time maybe a week or two and that’s what makes them so special a reminder of how beautiful and fleeting life can be under the sunlight the petals glow beautifully it’s peaceful timeless and unforgettable if you ever visit Japan in spring make your way to King Taiko the bridge the blossoms the atmosphere everything here feels like poetry in motion there’s a beautiful pond the pedals of Sakura are floating on the water i wonder what this one is let’s explore it later beautiful Sakura there’s a small shrine this small shrine had a quaint atmosphere another shrine this one is much bigger than the shrine I visited earlier and this is what I was wondering about this is an old style cafe called Chamise beautiful street it says this was Meata family’s residence mikata was one of middle class samurai i can hear small birds chirping what a well organized beautiful garden i like this atmosphere [Music] [Music] is it a fountain you might want to have a lunch over there let’s go back to Kintai Bridge people are relaxing beautiful i think this was another samurai’s residence it says Kagava family’s residence a lot of people are waiting in line for a famous fried noodle called Kawara Soba [Music] how did you like this place [Music] i like that beautiful shaped bridge beautiful Sakura and this calm atmosphere japan treasures good old things or places i’m going to visit and show you other good ones goodbye for now
