How to get the best forearms of your life 💪 Part 9 of our adventures at the Osaka World Expo 2025! 🇯🇵

If there’s one thing my husband likes to do, it’s completing things ✅ – could be a checklist, a collection, or in this case, a mission.

The first day we got to the Osaka Expo, we were running late to our first pavilion reservation, so we rushed over to the Kansai Pavilion. Little did we realize how cool the inside would be, and also how many stamps it would have to collect! We hadn’t had time to pick up an official Expo stamp passport, so we had to make do with what we had – which was a bag from the bakery 🥐 where we bought some bread the previous night 🌃

So Kevin started stamping the first few on the bakery bag, and from there, even after we got an official stamp passport (sold for 1,100 yen at the Expo merch shops), he just had to continue. Which is how we ended up with 182 stamps on this one bag (covered on all 4 sides and the bottom 😂), and 192 stamps in our official stamp passbook! 😮 The stamps are all unique to the pavilions with some of them including an image of the pavilion or symbol representing the country. Most pavilions had just one stamp to collect while some had multiple! 🌎

No wonder his forearms hurt 🤣
