Maruha Nichiro to Open Restaurant in Tokyo in 2026 

Japanese seafood giant Maruha Nichiro has announced plans to open its first-ever restaurant in the fall of 2026.  

The new seafood-focused spot will be located in Newoman Takanawa, a commercial project scheduled to make its debut later this year in Tokyo’s Minato Ward.  

Maruha Nichiro says the restaurant will promote sustainable seafood, attract health-conscious customers, and “redesign the role of fish in modern diets.”
