Japan Fuji-Q Highland Trip and How to get the fast passes | Japan Travel Vlog
hi welcome back to We Travel for You and our visit to Fujiku Highland Amusement Park There are several ways to get to Fujiku We chose to take the train from Shinjuku to Osuki Station Once at Otsuki Station we got the Fuji 1-day pass You’re most likely to have in possession a JR pass The JR pass covers the line from Shinjuku to Osuki Station From Atsuki station you need to take the Fujikq railway which is not covered by the JI pass and costs about 1,200 yen Take the Fujik Railway train to Fujikq station The first benefit of the 1day Fuji pass is that it covers the train ride from Matsuki to Fujiku station The next part of this video shows you the route we took from our hotel room to get to the amusement park entrance We booked a hotel room in FujiQu Highland Resort and Spa because they give you the benefit of uh early access to the park in the morning The Hotel Vajger also covers free access to the park However it doesn’t cover any of the rides inside Make sure once inside you approach the Fastpass ticket booth to get your full day access pass and also to get the Fastpass access to the five best rides in the park These are in order of awesomeness Iika Takabisha Fujyama Dodon Donpa and Tentacoma Two of which are featured in this video Um the rest I couldn’t really smuggle the camera [Music] onto you can It is a long route from the hotel and it forces you to go through the Lisa and Gasparat [Music] town Just keep following your way around until you get to the entrance and make sure you stay to the right where the hotel entrance is You get to enter maybe 10 to 15 minutes earlier than the rest of the people [Music] Hey Heat Heat [Music] [Music] Make sure you bear with the video once inside because you can easily get lost That’s what happened to us [Music] [Music] Oh yeah [Music] Just keep going straight and following the blue [Music] line On your left you get a quick glimpse of the Fuji coaster King of coasters is what they call it [Music] [Music] [Music] Hey hey hey [Music] Once you hit the merry ground stick to the right and you’ll see the ticket booth Walk up to the window and tell them you want the full day pass and start asking them for the fast passes They will show you a schedule of times Make sure you pick the right time slot Don’t choose two coasters in one hour as I did cuz you won’t be able to make both of them One coaster per hour That right there is the ticket booth you need to go to [Music] Next up is Doumpa This is an extremely quick coaster which starts off very fast The rest was kind of boring Doda Dumpa debuted in November 2001 and broke two world records when it came out It accelerates from 0 to 180 km/h in 1.56 [Music] seconds Heat [Music] Heat Heat Heat [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] Next up is Teabisha and it is known for having the steepest drop in the world That coupled with the various twists and turns and flips makes it my third favorite coaster out of four [Music] Where’s the ice Woo Heat [Applause] [Music] Heat Heat [Music] [Applause] [Music] Woohoo Oh my god [Music] [Music] I told you Oh my god [Music] Oh my god [Music] There are two more roller coasters which I found to be my favorite I couldn’t get the camera on them though You’ll just have to go and experience those yourself [Music] Fuji Q Highland Amusement Park was by far my favorite theme park and I’ve been to quite a few Having Mount Fuji as the backdrop of every roller coaster is a unique experience and one that I will not forget It is now your turn to experience FujiQ Highland Amusement Park yourselves
