[Music] hey guys and welcome back to the channel So we were in Guangta We were in Hong Kong Met up with the rest of our group in Hong Kong and then now we are all headed to Macau Random tip by the way If you’re going to be taking a ferry make sure you sit in the middle of the ferry If you’re like me I always sit near the window in a car when I have motion sickness It helps a lot to sit near the window And same for a plane And I thought same for the ferry But for fairies it’s different Make sure you sit in the center of the boat because this is what the staff was telling me They asked if anyone had motion sickness and we were like “Yes we did.” And she’s like “Okay sit in the middle It will rock less.” I’m like “Oh my god big brain.” I digress But essentially I didn’t film much in Macau because you were either gambling or you were shopping And I am not a gambler I do not endorse gambling I was also saving a lot of my shopping for Japan which will be coming up later on in this video Ah very exciting Um yeah I will leave you guys with that and I hope you guys enjoy the video So we arrived in Macau and checked into the Venetian which has a casino and a whole lot of shopping Honestly it’s so big and so easy to get lost in I’m pretty sure it’s even connected to the other casinos like the Londoner which just makes it feel like it’s a whole entire city within the city We spent the next day bedrotting because Hong Kong destroyed us Jess and the others went to explore some of the heritage sites But guys traveling is so tiring We’ve never run to so many locations in four days But later that day we did come out to explore And I picked up the last two Lab Boooos on display which I was so confused why no one was fighting for it But then I realized that somebody was on the side just like refilling the shelf as it got empty And then we went to Heidi for dinner because their service is amazing [Music] Which color did you guys want to see or brown i’ve never seen a special one before I know I really want to see brown I think it’s going to be cuckoo [Laughter] I think Zezy would be cute Oh I don’t know I can’t wait anymore Wait Maybe Okay She thinks Baba I’m ready There’s a thing after Oh I kind of don’t want to be eyes open One Okay look I was being dramatic Okay I’m not even that into the boooos but just maybe I’m a little bit more obsessed now [Applause] That’s crazy [Applause] Gambling Okay Well what do we think this one’s going to be special You get a double special We are investing Oh what if my luck runs out here i don’t I don’t think money to Danny Oh no no no no no Morning We’re at Old Test Village and uh this is this is what I see right now Oo I want to go home I’m more interested in After a day of bedroing I realized I’m actually not a big traveler at heart which might sound surprising given how much I’ve been traveling lately But the truth is I’ve been pushing myself to join these international trips because Jessica is such a huge traveler She’s always got the travel bug For those of you who don’t know Jess is Andrew’s sister And Andrew is my partner of 10 years this month Oh my god And I guess part of me also wants to see the world too you know and it’s been the perfect excuse to explore places I probably never would have thought to visit on my own [Music] Would like a rose pet of Portuguese Why did I say that accent [Music] everybody she’s my staff Can I have a sabotria compressed oh my god Oh my god I have I’m really butchering this [Music] Wait that doesn’t look like the photos It doesn’t It doesn’t look like the photos [Music] [Applause] [Music] Oh [Music] And then we had lunch at Antonio I’m pretty sure Jess had this place on a list and it was pretty good I think this was my favorite dish It was some kind of crab mixture on a cracker and I would go back just to have that Oh and also they accept Hong Kong dollars one for one with the local currency So it’s super convenient if you’ve got any leftover change from Hong Kong So we just finished lunch and now we’re going to have some tart [Music] Thank you Oh no We have our turrets Hey Ty Tada Wow it’s so yellow Thank you I’m not sure if we randomly found this place but we tried the Portuguese tarts here Apparently it is a must try in Macau Um unfortunately my first ever tart when I was a kid it was it was not good It was kind of disgusting So I’ve avoided tarts all my life Like I straight up gagged at the the dinner table and yeah I have very poor judgment so don’t listen to me But the rest thought it was amazing And now we’re off to our next location This looks like the main street Let me show you guys Oh right here was actually so much street [Applause] [Music] [Applause] again We made our way to the giant panda pavilion which I feel like we were so lucky to see the pandas awake and eating My god that was so cute That was actually magical [Music] And then we made our way back to Hong Kong for a night and flew out to Japan the next day So we arrive in Japan and we’re staying in Shinjuku I love traveling with friends who already have things that they really love about a place because I can experience it too I think this is called Guatsu Moto I love the whole like concept This is my first time trying it but like grilling your own meat on that hot stone was so satisfying and everything tasted so beautiful and tender The next day we were in Ginsa We had just run out of laundry so we were running to Uniqlo and to Goo or to Gu We also passed by a Chanel thrift shop So we went in because Bonnie and I both wanted to take a look you know a look And I found this cute ass white Chanel pillowy looking bag and I was like “Oh my goodness it’s so cute.” I took a photo of it because I wanted to know if there were other bags like that And surprisingly when I searched online I couldn’t find any of the same bag There were some with slight variations which I found really sus We did go to Chanel and we did show them the photo and they brought out a different color and they told us that the white one was sold out So yeah it was legit While we were at Chanel we found a different bag and oh my god I think we were like really shocked because it was brand new and it was cheaper than the one that was being thrifted So Andrew brought it for me guys I don’t I really don’t deserve this right now But like oh my god I’m so happy What do you mean it’s my first Chanel bag [Music] Hey guys today we’re going to a maid cafe I’m actually really excited Now out of all of us Jess is the first one to have been to a made cafe I don’t understand That doesn’t make sense She’s literally the most not wee person out there We’re only here because Oh [Music] Okay we’re done with the May Cafe and we’re just downstairs in the same building checking out some anime figs [Music] Oh they’re going so far [Music] Sure [Music] [Music] Japan Oh yeah [Music] I think this is my fourth time back in Japan and every ramen shop I’ve ever been to will always have pork broth ramen Like I almost never see the clearer broths like the chicken broths the miso broths Like I almost never see those in Japan I I was wondering why Oh my god I’m so excited I always get extra rich Oh my god [Music] See that layer of that but honestly when you’re in Japan you need to try Ichiran I don’t care if better You need to try Ichiran And unless you’ve tried the extra rich broth I don’t want to hear what you have to say about it not being good I don’t think we have the same sense of taste [Music] You know usually when we go on the Shinkansen we would get the eky ben but this time I’m just going to have my trusty tuna mayo or niki because echky bends are you know echens are just a little bit [Music] I got Everybody [Music] Yeah [Music] Tips
Macau accepts Hong Kong Dollars 1:1 for their own currency (MOP)
From experience, the Uber app did not work when we arrived so you’ll likely have to rely on public transport or pay the drivers with cash.
If you used WeChat Pay like I did in mainland china, it’s not the same as WeChat Pay in Macau/Hong Kong for some reason so make sure you have ample cash on you.
