Zumuku Sushi, which has 18 restaurants across the UK including sites in Warrington, Congleton and Macclesfield, have submitted a proposal for new signage at a vacant site in Upper Northgate Street.

The empty restaurant was most recently 9 Elephants Thai Drink & Dine, which closed its door in July last year.

The proposal details illuminated signage which would be fixed to the front of the building, displaying the brand’s logo.

OTHER NEWS:

Zumuku Sushi has an extensive menu of traditional Japanese sushi dishes, including urumaki rolls, sashimi, maki, and nigiri.

There are also curries, poke bowls, noodle and ramen dishes, and dumplings and small plates.

Alternatively, customers can also order ‘messy chips’ or burgers infused with a mix of classic Asian flavours.

The brand recently announced plans for a new Crewe location on its social media channels, and it seems a new Chester restaurant might not be far behind.
