is that concerning rust or just surface ? for a 1997 toyota crown

    A 1 year old car in the Midwest USA is worse than this. It’s a nearly 30 year old car. This looks fantastic.

  4. It’s totally fine.
    I’ve had 20-ish crowns on my lift, and only once i saw one with some rust on just the driveshaft and axles.
    I don’t know why, but those things never seem to have any rust.
    Probably most of them have had a pretty easy life as public service vehicles/taxi’s in the big cities.

    As an owner of a 1997 Crown Wagon, I cleaned off the underside of my car and somehow this looks cleaner than my work lol

  6. That underside is in better condition than my life at any point in the last ten years. Get that car!
