Starting from the July 2025 JLPT exam, applications by training schools will be accepted through the online system and registration will be processed through it from 27 to 31 January, the Myanmar Association of Japanese Alumni (MAJA) announced.
The website link will be posted on the morning of 27 January, it said.
A separate announcement will be made for application after setting the deadline. A maximum of 70 forms will be sold per school for Yangon and Mandalay schools. One licence is considered one training school, and sub-licences with the same owner are not included while incomplete applications and expired licenses will not be considered.
The Institution ID that was entered in the Japan Foundation’s 2024 Survey of Japanese Language Schools Overseas programme is required. Without this ID or with the wrong ID, it will not be accepted. As only one registration and one application can be made per email address, applicants are advised to check the email address thoroughly.
The person in charge of the school must fill in the form by himself and if any discrepancy arises out of a representative, the school is solely responsible. Registration data to submit include the owner’s information/registration and front and back of national scrutiny card photos in image files in JPEG or PNG. Payment must be made via KPay or e-commerce registered MPU card, and for detailed instructions, applicants can contact the JLPT Examination Organizing Committee, MAJA, 01 757 10 15 ext 1 during office hours. — MT/ZN
