TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a member of a criminal syndicate for allegedly threatening an employee at a beauty salon for men and stealing sales money, reports Fuji News Network (May 21).
Last year, Noriaki Akiba, a 39-year-old member of the Inagawa-kai, is suspected of shoving both shoulders of the 23-year-old female employee at the salon in Machida City.
“Give me all your sales money,” he threatened. “I’m not going home until you give me your money.” He then stole about 130,000 yen in cash.

Upon the arrest of Akiba, he denied the allegations. “I don’t remember,” he said.
The salon provides beauty treatments for men. Prior to the incident, Akiba came to the salon pretending to be a customer. He committed the crime after paying 30,000 yen in advance for a treatment.
