🇯🇵 Japan Itinerary for families #japan #travel #travelguide

Day one, we flew into Asaka at 7:00 a.m. and went straight to Universal Studios. That’s how excited we were. We didn’t even check into our hotel. Of course, we had stopper Sesame Street. You guys remember those days with Big Bird and Cookie Monster, my other two or Disney spo that couldn’t wait to get to Disneyland, and they didn’t ride many rides. They said Universal is dead. But this guy had a blast. We finished the night here, and we finally got back to our hotel. We stayed at the Mccur Hotel, which is a core brand. Many cool designs. The only disappointment was this. No dumbbells, no kettle bells, no weights. Day two, we saw the sunrise in Dotani Bori district and hit the streets of Asaka sightseeing, indulging the culture, and of course, grabbing food, which Asaka is known for. It’s the nation’s kitchen. We ate so much we had to continue sightseeing to walk all the food off which led into the night which is a must do when you come to Osaka. Day three we went to the Asaka Castle for a history lesson. It stands 58 m tall surrounded by a double moat. Stone walls weigh 100 tons and the landscape is over 11.5 million square feet. And this is the guy Taytoi Hidoshi the powerful samurai who began the construction in this in 1583. And then we hopped on a bullet train headed for Kyoto. Send this to a family who’s looking to travel to Japan. You

🇯🇵 10-Day Japan Itinerary | Part 1: Osaka (3 Days)

📍Day 1 – Arrival in Osaka
* Flew into KIX Airport at 7:00 AM
* 1-hour taxi to Mercure Hotel Osaka (Accor Brand) Note: to be near all the attractions & restaurants you will have to make this commute. I can assist with arrangements to all hotels & transportations.
* Hotel note: within 10 meters of Dotonbori District where you see all the neon lights and amazing street food – if you need your daily workout routine their gym is limited but have many cool designs which add a flare to this hotel and its location is great proximity to all the attractions which makes it easy to get around and to convenient stores nearby for your family.
* Universal Studios Japan – for kids all ages, mine are just spoiled to DisneyWorld in Florida. Purchases the express pass and the Nintendo passes – these always sell out but I got you if you need the passes upon arrival.

📍Day 2 – Exploring Osaka
* Free day from all the traveling & since our internal clock was still on EST we watched the sunrise in Dotonbori District
* The Dotonbori District is all-day street exploration + sightseeing
* Osaka is known as “The Nation’s Kitchen” – we ate well
* Tried famous street food & grabbed fatboy snacks and explored Dotonbori in the evening
* Lots to do here – you can literally get lost and enjoy the city and its food.
* Would have done the Pokemon Restaurant but they did not accommodate a party bigger than 4 to be seated together – which I will hold my comment on this.

📍Day 3 – Osaka Castle
* Visited the iconic Osaka Castle -learned about Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the legendary samurai who built the castle in 1583 – the kids enjoyed all the history here, this place is massive. We spent most of the day hanging out & was hoping to catch a cherry blossom or two but were too early 😐. So much history around samurais, shrines, & the multiple wars, this was the best part!
* Took the bullet train from Osaka to Kyoto

📌 Next up: Part 2 – Kyoto & Mount Fuji🎥 Follow to see the adventure across Japan!
