As the title says, how big a pain will parts be for a Dyna here in Canada? Are there any north american counter parts for these? Will be looking at a 2010 4×4
We had a JDM forester for about 10 years and loved it even with the few items that needed to be imported in the end. Unfortunately a deer took it out so its time for something new

Also looking at one of these or a Nissan atlas, curious if anyone else has insight on parts availability and servicing.

I was just up in BC last week and saw more than a couple Dynas. Some parts will need to be imported, but we’ve been able to source others in North America whenever we service a Dyna at work. Might be tricky, not sure how plentiful importers are in your part of Canada, but I work for an importer down in Washington state and there’s at least 5 other importers within an hour of us with the JDM scene being pretty big here. BC is huge on it too. Seemed like every 5 minutes I saw an RHD car. Pain? No I wouldn’t say so. Lengthy? Probably unless you find a company that imports parts often

Just like anything else being imported into Canada as they become more popular they become easier to service. This is one one of the vehicles I would like to have or possibly trade my Delica for.
