🍜Kawara-soba, or roof-tile soba, is a local specialty of Yamaguchi Prefecture, and it’s simply divine!

🐡Blowfish/Pufferfish/Fugu/Fuku is a fish that’s generally poisonous to eat, but Japanese standards are so high that it’s safe to eat here. Shimonoseki City is nationally-known for their blowfish cuisine!

🥢This restaurant was divine! With a super chic atmosphere, there were a lot of tasty-looking options and local sake, and the kawara-soba and blowfish that I had were delightful! There was a waiter who spoke English, and they were very accommodating finding such a nice seat for me without a reservation!
