Remove or whatever if you have to. I have an 86 firebird. I love this car but I’ve always wanted to blend my love for JDM and domestics. What are some touches I could add to help bring in the JDM vibe?

  1. There is a muscle car scene in Japan, find pictures and check out how they mod their cars…

Jdm mag wheels. Lowering springs… maybe some aero body work… look at it and think what would pandem or rocketbunny do, wheel flairs and aggressive splitters etc. I mean you’ll cop some hate big time… but it’s your ride

clean er up, adjust the stance. thats everyhting really.

Maybe some checkerboard floor mats because I know they are sick in these cars.

Third gens look great modified in a JDM-inspired style because their styling is so similar to Z31s and A70s. Look up JDM Supras and 300ZXs for inspiration.

Lowered, Japanese wheels (something 80s like OEM Starion wheels, Longchamps, whatever fits your bolt pattern), home made front lip (lots of ways to do this), possibly an aftermarket wing like something from 326Power or a whale tail like some of the old Bonex wings. That’s all you’d really need imo. Aa is, the car sits too high and the front looks naked without the OEM air dam from later Trans Ams. Fix those two issues and you’re halfway to a “JDM inspired” look.

Turbo Rb 26 swap that mf. People would be so confused at stoplights.

Bosozuko that beast. Huge lip and spoiler would be amazing on that car.

Paint the rims, mirrors, spoiler, door bumper trim, & front bumper trim white, pop the headlights halfway
