One Day In Otaru Japan
Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Today I am in Otaru, Japan. Join me on a 1-day trip exploring the beautiful sites of Otaru along with the cost of various places you might want to visit. Even if you’re not planning to travel, the stunning scenery is a true tonic for the eyes. So sit back, please watch till the end and enjoy the journey with me. [Music] Here at Otaru Port, the sea stretches endlessly into the horizon. Calm, constant, and quietly beautiful. [Music] This is Sakai Machi Street in Otaru. A charming and popular spot known for its music box museum, tax-free sweet shops, ice cream, fresh local fruits, and much more. [Music] If you are in Otaru, don’t miss Yamanaka Dairy Farms ice cream. They serve incredibly fresh milk ice cream and bottled fresh milk. It’s super tasty, refreshing, and surprisingly affordable at just $3 to $4. Eating ice cream, man. Playing with ice. Playing with ice. [Music] You must try these melon snacks. They are super popular in Japan and seriously tasty. It’s one of those snacks you’ll want to bring [Music] home. All right, time for the famous Otaru Canal ride. Super chill, scenic, and a fun way to see the city. Tickets cost about $13 for adults and $6 for children, but trust me, it’s really worth. It lasts about 20 minutes and gives you a cool view of the city’s old charm. [Music] [Laughter] [Music] at the moment. [Music] [Applause] Oh my go. After the amazing canal ride, I made my way to the bus station to head towards the Tanguyama ropeway. Getting around is super convenient here. You’ll find tickets machines right at the bus stop where you can buy tickets for all kind of attractions like the ropeway, the aquarium, and more. Quick, easy, and totally tourist friendly. Both the Otaru Aquarium and Tangoyama ropeway are about 20 minutes bus ride from Otaru station. If you haven’t seen my full video on Otaru Aquarium yet, I’ll drop the link in the description box below. It’s a mustwatch. Definitely worth spending your precious 10 minutes. And of course, every view, like, and comment gives me the motivation to keep bringing you better [Music] content. Tangyama Rope, just $13 for adults and $6 for kids. Totally worth it for those epic [Applause] views. The three most beautiful night views in Hokkaido, appearing as if it is inlaid with jewels, creating a picturesque scene. And the view during the day is also breathtaking, occasionally displaying a spectacular sea of clouds. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Mount Tangu is named after the Tangu, a mythical, long-nosed mountain spirit in Japanese folklore. He used to be feared, but now he’s seen as a mountain protector. There’s even a cute little shrine here at the top. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] If you are in Otaru, this is your moment to pause, take in the view, and breathe. [Music] [Applause] [Music] After soaking in the panoramic views from Tanguyama, I stepped into the ski museum located on Mount Tangu. A hidden gem for winter sports enthusiasts. This free entry museum showcases around 4,000 artifacts tracing the rich history of Hokkaido. I [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] I see this. [Music] something. [Music] [Applause] [Music] After exploring the museum, I grabbed a hot cup of coffee from the cafe here at the summit. The perfect way to slow down and take in the beautiful views a little longer. [Music] After spending a peaceful afternoon exploring Mount Tangu, I headed down toward my next stop, Ran Shima Beach. It’s just two stops away from Otaru Station, and I hopped on a charming little one-man local train to get there. The ride itself was short but scenic. The kind of local experience that makes the journey as memorable as the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] destination. Yeah. Go. It’s quite hard, right? Be careful. Look here. Yeah, [Music] it has. Huh? Yeah, because that’s from Japan, right? Yeah. From here. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I didn’t stay too long at Ranchima Beach. It was super windy and freezing cold with not a single person around. But trust me, that quiet moment by the sea still felt special. Thanks for being part of my journey today.
