🇫🇷 JOUR 15 : Fukuoka – Tokyo 🚴 #asia #travel #bikelife #bikelover #history #japan #castle
And it’s day 15 from Fukuoka to Tokyo by bike! Hi, we’re Bryan and Sébastien, two travelers on bikes committed to a good cause: Helping hospitalized children from France travel, thanks to our round-the-world bike tour. After Europe and Asia, here we are now in Japan. Today, we are in Imabari, and more precisely in its castle. It’s a castle that was built in 1602, and it’s one of the rare established by the sea with a moat system filled with salt water. We then arrived on one of the most legendary cycle paths in Japan: the Shimanami Kaido. Also nicknamed the Samurai Trail , it connects the main island of Honshu to that of Shikoku, crossing 6 islands in the Seto Inland Sea, thanks to a series of spectacular bridges . See you tomorrow for the continuation of the adventure!
