Evan’s Wakayama Trip Part 2 – 白崎海洋公園 Shirasaki Ocean Park

What did you think of step one? It was good. Good step one. Is it what you expected? No. Great. It was good though. Okay, let’s move on to the next one. It was good. Yeah. [Music] like mountain pass. Look how narrow it is. Got this two-way street. How am I on the cliff side? Good. Yeah. Good. Good. Don’t look, Mom. But better [Music] louder. Here we are. Silasaki Ocean Park. [Music] All right, Evan, what do you think? Very cool. I imagine that sign says something like, “Don’t go touch the rock.” Uh, it says, “Please.” It says, “It’s dangerous, so don’t climb.” Ah, I see. Okay. But it’s really more a suggestion than like they say it’s like please like please you know you know it doesn’t say don’t do it. Yeah. I mean it does but but nuance you know [Music] What is this? Are they keeping us out or something? That’s wild. I want to go in there so bad. You can feel like the cold draft. Yeah, I really want to go in there, too. It’s like I don’t see the end. Wow. Ev, look. We can go into the water. Oh, yeah. It’s been a long time since I’ve had the ocean on my feet. How’s it feel? Feels good. It feels colder than I expected or something. Yeah. Right. Me, too. I was thinking it’s going to be warmer. Feels kind of like Lake Superior back in Minnesota. Yeah, actually, it kind of does. Although at this point in the year, Lake Superior would definitely be Yeah, that’s true. It’s beautiful though. Yeah, it is amazing. We should go into that secret hideout. Look at this. I really want to go above there and look down. I don’t know how to appreciate that. I don’t know. Smells salty. Teeny little critters. I hope not. I don’t [Music] like climbing the wall over us. Wow. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] What’s going on, Evan? The struggle is real to get this sand off my feet. I’m getting it though. All right. I just went barefoot Crocs. So, I got real shoes. So, go barefoot the shoes. I’d like to say that I planned this and like that’s why I brought the the Crocs, but it just wasn’t. This is harder than it looks.

@EvanStreblow ‘s and my adventure to Wakayama over Golden Week continues! We moved on to some white cliffs by the coast that wasn’t crowded, and I don’t think it’s very well known. So far, everyone I have mentioned it to had no idea it existed. I want to go back there again sometime. If you are ever in the area, I would recommend visiting Shirasaki Ocean Park. It was free to enter and very fun to walk around. Plus, there is a special surprise location very near to this park. But for that, you’ll have to check out part 3…
