I’m selling my A90 very soon to fund more RHD shitboxes, with the goal of an eventual JDM legends collection. What would you guys get to pair with an 820hp mk4 supra? I’m leaning more towards s15 or NSX than fd and r34 at the moment. What’s your dream 2 car JDM garage and what would you do if you were me?

I would buy an FD, then I would own my two favorite 90s jdm sports cars

    Sunny Pick Up

Or if you have gravel in the area, Vivio RX-R/Alto Works R/Avanzato TR-XX R4

Or if the gravel in your area is bumpy, Pajero Evolution

Or if you like the smell of two stroke oil and can balance, an NSR250R

I’d throw an Evo 5 or 6 in there or a first gen Impreza.

Crown, Century or Chaser to keep it in the Toyota family and gives the option of a reliable commuter sedan while still being JDM and keeping the MK4 pristine.

My dream 2-car JDM legends garage doesn’t have an A80 in it, it has an FD and a BNR32.

But based on your choices, my opinion is that the NSX complements your A80 as a next addition.

Personally I’d get an FC over an FD…. But I’m also a sucker for the mk3 Supra.

  7. feel like I’m going insane here. if an NSX is a viable option I think that’s the obvious choice. like if you’re shopping jdm legends and can reasonably put down NSX money, you should be getting the NSX.

I know my answer doesn’t exactly fit your question, but why not an Euro like an M3, an AMG or a classic American muscle car? Or go a completely different direction and get a classic, tastefully lifted 4×4 truck?

Mitsubishi 3000 GT, Nissan Skyline R34, Honda NSX

300zx is an option (although I dont like v6s) and for some less popular ideas: early evos, Galant VR4, any of the ABC kei cars, ek/eg CTR, Integra Type R, Toyota MkII, sw20 MR2
