Every year from mid-April to early May, the beautiful, colorful wisteria flowers bloom in full glory.

In March 2000, Wake Town commemorated the 1,200th anniversary of Lord Wake’s death with 100 wisteria seedlings of 23 of the most famous varieties were planted in Wake Park.
