Join us on an unforgettable day trip from Osaka to Kyoto, Japan! We begin our adventure in a charming traditional Airbnb in Osaka before hopping on the Shinkansen—Japan’s legendary bullet train—to explore the cultural heart of Kyoto.

First, we make our way through the stunning Senbon Torii gates at the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, walking beneath a thousand vibrant orange gates that stretch endlessly up the mountain.

After exploring the nearby market street, we enjoy a delicious and affordable lunch at Gion the food district of Kyoto, one of our new favorite finds in Japan!

Refueled and refreshed, we visit the serene Kodaiji Temple (高台寺), tucked into the scenic Higashiyama hills. With its peaceful Zen gardens and striking architecture, it’s a must-see for anyone exploring Kyoto.

We close the day with a train ride back to Zushi, tired but filled with gratitude for another beautiful chapter in our Japan adventure.
