【江ノ島散歩】湘南を代表する観光地、江ノ島を歩く 早朝の静けさを味わう散歩

good morning. Today we will take a walk around Enoshima, a tourist destination that represents Shonan. The start is here at Enoshima Station on the Enoden. The slightly tall building on your right is Enoshima Monorail Station. In addition to the Enoden and monorail lines, Enoshima also has the Odakyu Enoshima Station. I’m glad you can come in so many different ways. Personally, I like the retro feel and cuteness of Enoshima Station on the Enoden. The current time is around 6:30 AM, which is quite early, so Katase Subana Street, which has a lot of pedestrian traffic during the day, is quiet. It’s early in the morning, so the shops aren’t open, but it’s an attractive street with a mix of new and stylish shops and old-fashioned shops. It looks good. We would like you to open from around 6 o’clock. (Don’t force yourself to say it) Hareruya is also a building with a sense of history. I’ve been there several times, and both the pork bone soy sauce and miso are delicious. The main street is restaurants, so you can enjoy eating while walking. It’s not possible early in the morning. (Of course) The end of Subana Dori is in sight. Although it’s still a little far away, Enoshima is now in sight. The tension gradually increased. By the way, if you turn right and cross the bridge, you will reach Odakyu Enoshima Station. It’s hard to see, but that green roof with a golden ridge is Odakyu Enoshima Station. Distance-wise, it’s the closest station to the main island of Enoshima, so I’d like to go back there on my way home. Go through the underpass and cross to the other side. The palm trees give it a tropical feel. Although there were clouds, Mt. Fuji was clearly visible. Unfortunately, with a camera, the image is always smaller than it appears with the naked eye. When I cross this “Enoshima Benten Bridge”, I am reminded of the Big Bridge in Final Fantasy V. Does anyone know how you feel? (What are you listening to?) By the way, the bridge on the left is a road exclusively for cars and bicycles and is called “Enoshima Ohashi Bridge.” That one is a big bridge. (Huh?) Mt. Fuji was beautiful on the main island. As Enoshima approached, the buildings became clearly visible. There is a parking lot on the left side that can accommodate quite a few cars. It’s also good to come by car while driving. Enoshima also has hot springs. If you come to stay overnight, I would definitely like to come in. From here, enter Enoshima Benzaiten Nakamise Street. The store isn’t open yet, but I really like the atmosphere of this street. What’s great about Enoshima is that you can feel the past like this street. Instead of going straight, I’m going to turn a little here. Alleys like this have a nice atmosphere, and there are spots where you can see the ocean beautifully when you pass through these alleys. It is also famous as a spot with a spectacular view of the sunset. This view and the sound of the waves are soothing. Now, let’s return to the original path and aim upwards. Found a squirrel! I don’t panic even if I get close enough. Yay! This torii is the Otorii of Eshima Shrine, commonly known as the “Vermilion Torii.” It is one of the spots that represent Enoshima. Now let’s just go up the stairs. Enoshima has something like a long escalator called an esker, but it’s early in the morning, so it’s not working yet. Although there is a fee, it is easy to climb up, and I think it will be a great souvenir, so I recommend everyone to use it at least once. Hetsunomiya, located at the top of the stairs, was built in 1206 by Minamoto no Sanetomo in hopes of prospering the Kamakura shogunate. The current building appears to have been built in 1675. There are other buildings around here. This flashy building is called “Hoanden” and enshrines the “Myoon Benzaiten Statue” and “Yatsumi Benzaiten Statue.” Compared to Hoanden, this one with a calmer atmosphere is “Yasaka Shrine.” You can see Enoshima Big Bridge. Next, let’s move on towards Nakatsumiya, which is written here. The sea around here is also beautiful. The red shrine building that comes into view is Nakatsunomiya. I’ve climbed quite a few stairs so far, but there’s still more to climb. Well, I’m going to make an escar, too. The observation tower, one of the symbols of Enoshima, is located here, but it is not open yet. Early in the morning, there are fewer people, but many facilities are not open, so if you want to enjoy sightseeing, it might be better to come after 9 o’clock. The atmosphere around here is also nice. There are people who live in this deep part of Enoshima. I have to be careful not to make too much noise, especially in the morning. Two mountains? It’s beautiful here too. This place also has a nice old-fashioned atmosphere. The crows are making a lot of noise. You won’t be attacked, right? It’s a little scary. After overcoming the fear of crows, they finally arrived at Okutsunomiya. This is the last of the three shrines on Enoshima. The eldest of the three sisters, Tagirihime no Mikoto, is enshrined here. After passing through Okutsu-miya, we will descend. From here, we move on to Chigogafuchi, one of Enoshima’s most popular spots. There are a lot of stone monuments. It is a spot where you can see Mt. Fuji beautifully for the first time today. The sunset is beautiful here too. The contrast between the sea and the red bridge here is nice. There is a cave called “Iwaya” ahead, but as expected, it is not open yet. Mt. Fuji from here is also beautiful. Let’s go down for a moment. It’s not as good as “Iwaya”, but it has a bit of an adventurous feel to it, which is nice. Many people start fishing early in the morning. After all, the sea on a sunny day is nice. (It’s still far away with a camera, but I want to convey the beauty of Mt. Fuji somehow.) Now, let’s go back. Don’t just take the same route you went, instead take a different route back. We came down some pretty steep stairs, which means we have to go back up. Of course I understand, but I’m out of breath. The sunlight is beautiful, isn’t it? In the morning, the sun is in the east, so you have to walk towards the sun on your way home. This stone is called “Kameishi”, and it certainly looks like a turtle shell. Maybe it’s because of the sunlight, but it looks like a different street than the one I’m going to. (Maybe I just don’t have the memory?) I want to turn left here and head home. Cars can come this far on this road, but it’s true that you can’t carry luggage on the route when construction is going on. Even if you use Esker, it’s too tight. Can I use the receipt for Esker? (That’s why I won’t go there) The sea and the green trees are beautiful. In order not to pollute this scenery, you need to follow good manners when walking and sightseeing. You can feel the nature of Enoshima on this road. A beautiful red bridge came into view. The lower world seems to be near. yes. In no time, I was back at the Otorii gate. It is also recommended that you take this route while looking at various things on the way there and return all at once. Shops are also starting to prepare for opening. I would like to go to an alley with a nice atmosphere that I was interested in going to. The atmosphere looks good from here on out, but we’ll turn here today. The shops around here seem to be busy during the day. It’s important to eat well before and after sightseeing in Enoshima. I was able to enjoy the quiet Enoshima. The big bridge on the way back is also beautiful and nice. (All I had was the desire to convey the beauty of Mt. Fuji without giving up until the end.) Well, since I came from Enoshima Station on the Enoden, I will head back to Enoshima Station on the Odakyu Line. I think it would be faster to go through the underground passage, but I purposely go from the left here. The view of Enoshima from this bridge is also nice. The building you can see in front is the Enoshima Aquarium, which is also a popular spot. (And Mt. Fuji) The Odakyu Enoshima Station is visible on your left. It seems that everything is inspired by Ryugu Castle. Well, today I took a walk around Enoshima early in the morning. I felt a sense of history in the retro atmosphere of Nakamise Street and the back alleys, and was soothed by the ocean and nature. This was also a very satisfying walk. Thank you for watching until the end. If you’d like, let’s go for a walk together again.
