When you hear the words Malang City, what comes to mind first? Malang City, is the second largest city in East Java, Indonesia. A city which, according to some people, is the right city for the end of a dream . They say, this city is able to provide a lot of laughter, jokes and happiness. This is a vlog of my short trip to Malang City. Hopefully it will be a beautiful story in itself that I can share with all of you. This is the stopover segment in your city, Malang City episode. My journey started from the Gempol toll gate in Pasuruan. I went to Malang City using a private vehicle because Malang City is quite close to where I live. From the Gempol toll gate to the gate. Malang city toll road can be reached in just 40 minutes. I leave at 6 am. I always like morning trips, I don’t know why . Even though I sometimes get stuck in traffic jams, I don’t feel as tired as when I get stuck in traffic jams in the afternoon . Maybe because I’m still fresh . During the trip, to be honest, I don’t really know where I’m going. Malang city has so many interesting places that I can’t possibly visit them all in just 1 or 2 days. But what’s clear is that we will really explore Malang city. Yes, poor city! Not Batu City! There are lots of people who claim to be on holiday in Malang City, but actually they are going to Batu City , even though they are two different cities . Passing the toll road rest area, I stopped for a moment . It seemed like I needed a snack to accompany the trip. I also filled up with petrol, so that I wouldn’t have to stop looking for petrol while in Malang City. By the way, the thing I like about this rest area is the very cool view. After stopping by the rest area, I continued my journey to Malang City. Not long after, I finally arrived in Malang City . After 40 minutes of travel, I finally arrived in Malang City. The first goal was clear, looking for breakfast! I haven’t had breakfast yet and my stomach feels very hungry. The breakfast place I went to was Pecel Kawi. Located on Jalan Kawi above Malang City. This place is very legendary. It’s been around since 1975. In fact, the menu here is varied. It doesn’t only sell pecel. But still my main choice has to be pecel! Because of what? Because what is famous here is pecel! It would be a shame if I didn’t try it. I ordered the pecel menu with buntel satay as a side dish. Meanwhile, my son ordered kampung fried chicken rice with perkedel. Then my wife ordered mixed rice with komo satay as a side dish. OK, let’s try this legendary pecel. This pecel has a sweet but still savory taste. It really has its own characteristics. For the drink, I’m interested in ice kawi. I don’t know what this is. It’s said to be made from kawista fruit. I don’t know either. But it turns out it’s not bad. The taste is very unique. You have to try this if you go to Malang. After a satisfying breakfast at Pecel Kawi, now it’s time to continue the journey. After searching on Google and a brief discussion with my family , I decided that the next destination was Sumber Maron. A natural tourist attraction in the form of a river tour located in Perellaran, Malang Regency. If you look at Google, this place is quite famous in Malang. Reviews have reached 18,000 reviews , making Sumber Maron one of the most popular places in Malang. Okay, so let’s continue our journey towards the pagelaran sub-district, Malang district. Even though it’s not in the extreme category, the trip to the performance sub-district still requires high focus because the road is winding. But fortunately, along the way we were treated to a very nice view of the garden. After traveling for an hour from Pecel Kawi, finally I arrived at the entrance to Sumber Maron. I looked for the car park closest to the entrance. It’s called the Pak Rusno parking lot. The price of car parking here is IDR 10,000. To get to the tourist location. From the place Parking the car, we still have to walk for 2 minutes past residents’ houses before finally meeting the ticket purchase counter The ticket price is only IDR 5,000 per person. It’s quite cheap for a tourist spot that is considered popular. Here, the main entertainment is playing in the river. The water comes directly from the source. I rushed to look for locker rentals and changing rooms. There are lots of locker rentals here. So don’t worry about your luggage. This is a maroon source with a cool atmosphere. In fact, there are many spots that can be used for swimming. But the favorite spot for the majority of visitors is here. Playing water in the river like this, reminds me of when I was little. It hasn’t felt like this for a long time. By the way, here It won’t be complete if you don’t try tubing. So, let’s go tubing, bro! For those who don’t know, Tubing is going down a river with rubber tires. You can rent rubber tires for IDR 5,000. We can go down the river with this beautiful view. But you still have to be careful because the river current is quite fast, especially if you take children. Just be careful. Once you’re satisfied playing in the water, it won’t be complete if you don’t eat snacks. There are lots of places to buy snacks. There are also heavy foods. But I prefer to buy snacks at tourist attractions. Really, I’m going crazy. OK, it’s already 2 pm. Looks like my adventure is at the maron source. That’s enough. It’s time to return to Malang city. And it’s time for us to check into the hotel. After traveling for an hour, I finally arrived in the center of Malang city. Yes, I stayed right next to Malang City Square. That was on purpose. I planned to enjoy the atmosphere around Malang Square in the afternoon and evening. So, so that it wasn’t too far from the hotel. The name of the hotel is Riche Heritage Hotel. A hotel that relies on a classic atmosphere . For lovers of classic things, this hotel will be very suitable. After checking in, I was accompanied by the staff. Honestly, my first impression here was that the staff here were very friendly. Cool service. I took a family room for 4 people. Like This is the atmosphere of the room. This is quite spacious. Very comfortable if you bring children. The facilities are also complete. A good choice! Evening arrives. The sky of Malang city is now starting to look orange twilight like an indie kid. Making this city look very cool. In front of me is the Sarinah Mall. The first mall in Malang city. Very legendary! To the left of the hotel, there is the Gramedia bookstore. Now let’s go to Malang City Square. The afternoon atmosphere in Malang City is very addictive. It feels very comfortable to spend the afternoon here. This is Malang City Square. Let’s take a short walk to enjoy the atmosphere here. At first glance, this square has the impression of being clean and tidy. Even though at some points there is still rubbish . However, overall this is in the clean category. A comfortable place to enjoy. Here there is also a play spot for children. So this is also a suitable place if you want to bring children here. Child friendly . Unfortunately, there are several traders who sell inside. In the Alun-alun area , even though there are already prohibitive signs. For me, how to enjoy the afternoon in an open space like this. I bought a snack and then looked for a place to sit. Enjoyed the atmosphere around me, looking at the people passing by. It’s really what fathers do. Looks like I’m old. It’s prayer time. Evening falls in Malang City. I walked towards the Mitra Mall which is opposite the Alun-alun. The goal was to look for dinner. Because around here there is also a legendary eating place in Malang City. It would be a shame if I didn’t stop by. This is my goal, Martabak Agung . This Martabak has been around for 15 years. 1980 It really is a typical food in Malang City Square. You have to try martabak, because it’s really delicious! But tonight, I’m a little different. This time I want to try middle eastern food Tonight, I really want goat mandhi rice. Somehow. The combination of the savory goat flavor with the sweet and sour taste of the spices is really delicious. To drink, this time I just ordered the pulled iced tea. I don’t want anything. Just looking for something fresh. After dinner with my family, I want some me time. My family rests at the hotel, while I go to the cinema at Sarinah Mall. The plan is, I want to watch a film that is currently popular. That is Siege on Bukit Duri by Joko Anwar. Watch a cool film at the legendary mall. Very epic!
