Arashiyama in Full Bloom, Quiet Morning Walk in Spring | Kyoto, Japan 4K
A quiet morning walk along the Katsuragawa and through Arashiyama with cherry blossoms in full bloom. This area of western Kyoto is very popular with tourists, and with the sakura blooming I thought it would be best to start walking early when the streets were still quiet and the peaceful atmosphere of the area could shine through.
We start approaching one of the bridges to Nakanoshima in the middle of the Katsura River before crossing the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge and heading into the main area of Arashiyama. Along the way we pass by Tenryu-ji temple and the Bamboo Forest before making our way back to the Katsuragawa riverside.

This was a really beautiful film walk that ordinary tourists don't seek out and it's the real Japan that I'm interested in.thank's for sharing the video.take care and keep up with the good work.👍👌✌😊
While this is another great video showing just how awesome Japan is, I could've sworn I've seen this area in a previous video posting, either on this channel, or 4K Japan, Virtual Japan, or something
A new upload = A good day
Thank you for every single upload, much love
Beautiful sights! A feast for the eyes and mind! Thank you so much for sharing. I went to Kyoto, but physically couldn't do the walk then through Arashiyama. (It was before my hip surgery and treadmill therapy.) Seeing the cherry blossoms is amazing. Lovely to see what it would have been like had I gone with my brother and cousin! My Best, Margie
Thank you! Lovely walk in early morning with no crowds, just nature ❤ 😊
the best video for relaxing and healing my mind after work thanks
Konbanwa Ambient Explorer 😊
Arashiyama ! Tout est dit !!!
Togetsukyo, Katsura, Nakanoshima Bridge, Bambouseraie, Tenryu-ji…

Oh! Had to stop watching to say gorgeous first few frames of our video! Superb!🌹✨
Thank you for your beautiful videos! I love all the thoughtful details – how you turn to look at interesting things on the side, linger on the birds and the fish in the river, and share the time and temperature. Your videos not only recall wonderful memories of my trips to Japan but also soothe my nerves in these uncertain times. Arigato gozaimasu. ❤
I’ve just got to say that your films are the best! ☺️🌹You take us to such great places this one is now my favourite (up to now). So so beautiful! At the beginning a Golden Oriel was there again, he was so near to you as well, I wonder if you saw a flash of his golden feathers? This visit was truly enchanting! I so wish I had visited Japan, alas too many years old now. Do you speak Japanese? You are always very thoughtful to turn your lens upon the lovely trees whenever someone passes. The forest of tall tall bamboo trees is magnificent, also the manner with which they have used grasses to make fencing so very innovative and pleasing, I have never seen that done anywhere else. My word the monk sweeping the path was definitely doing his walking meditation! ☺️✨Thank you for all your hard work , it lifts so many of us watching! ☺️😘✨
