SleepyTofu,” a Taiwanese bedding brand that has been attracting a lot of attention since its crowdfunding campaign started in 2016, is now coming to Japan! The first flagship store ” SleepyTofu House ” will open in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo on May 9, 2025 (Friday)! The store will sell the flagship “Sleepy Tofu” and “Sleepy Inari” products, which have sold 20,000 units per year in Taiwan, as well as mattress pads, pillows, quilts, and other products.

The store is composed of areas reminiscent of an actual home, such as the entryway and living room, allowing visitors to experience the products through all five senses in a natural flow. Throughout, the soft colors and rounded, oppressive design are used to create a space that is unintentionally relaxing. A “TOFU ROOM” with a tofu motif, which can be used as a kids’ space, is located in the center of the space, giving it a softer impression.

In addition, the restaurant offers seasonal Taiwanese tea as a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors can experience a tea setting that combines various elements from Taiwan and Japan, such as vintage picture plates made by a Taiwanese pottery manufacturer.
