Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a savoury Japanese Pancake, topped with various ingredients. The Okonomiyaki can be found in restaurants, street vendors of Japan and even out of Japan. The batters and toppings varies across different region of Japan.

Okonomiyaki batter is made with eggs, flour, tempura scraps which is mixed with vegetables such as cabbage. The Okonomiyaki batter is then added to a flat teppanyaki, which is then topped with the ingredients of choice. This rendition of the Japanese Pancake found in Seoul has egg and bacon as the topping. Condiments such as Okonomiyaki sauce, Japanese Mayonnaise and bonito flakes are then added to finish the pancake dish. Do remember to give this street food a try!
