5 Things I wish I knew before going to Japan. #Japan #japantravel
Here’s five things I wish I knew before going to Japan. Hey guys, we just got back to LA from Japan. We’re actually moving in 2 weeks to a new place, but I wanted to come on here really quick just to share with you what we learned. So, if you’re planning a trip, it goes much smoother. First thing instead of Yelp, use Tabula. This is great for finding restaurants, checking reviews, and making reservations. Second, use Google Maps to help you navigate the subway. It can be very overwhelming. Google Maps helps you find the right platform, the right train, and make sure you’re heading in the right direction. Third, use one of Japan’s luggage delivery services. With all the stairs, crowds, and busy streets, sending your bags from the airport to your hotel and back makes getting around so much easier. Fourth, learn some basic Japanese. Not everyone speaks English, and knowing a few phrases will make your trip so much smoother, especially when ordering food or asking for directions and help. And last, don’t just stick to Tokyo. Explore other cities, too. For a first trip, I personally recommend Osaka, Kyoto, N. Getting around is surprisingly easy and affordable, so take it all in while you can. And if you’ve been to Japan before, let us know in the comments your suggestions.
Just got back to LA. Will be making tons of SoCal content coming up.
