Osaka Monorail Ride from the Airport toward Kyoto

The trip between Osaka and Kyoto took a few trains, our favorite was the Osaka Monorail! This elevated rail is clean, reasonably priced, and fun to ride. You get a good view of the expansive city of Osaka. Our ride was about 25 minutes till we hoped of and found a train to take us the last few miles to Kyoto station. The Osaka Monorail is one of the longest monorail systems in the world, sitting in front we got a great view and it felt a little like a roller coaster as we watch the ups and downs or twists and turns. Riding public transportation in Japan is so easy, most stations have automated ticketing that allows you to change the directions to English (our Japanese is very limited).
