Air India is set to bolster its international network by increasing the frequency of its non-stop flights between Delhi and Tokyo Haneda Airport from four times a week to daily operations, effective June 15, 2025.

This strategic enhancement aims to meet the growing demand for travel between India and Japan, facilitating smoother journeys for both business and leisure travellers. The daily flights will be operated using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.

Flight Schedule:

AI358: Departs Delhi at 20:20 IST, arriving at Tokyo Haneda at 07:55 JST the following day.

AI357: Departs Tokyo Haneda at 11:50 JST, arriving in Delhi at 17:25 IST.

The shift from Narita to Haneda Airport, implemented on March 31, 2025, offers passengers quicker access to central Tokyo, with Haneda located approximately 18 kilometres from downtown.

“Expanding our Delhi-Tokyo Haneda service to daily flights reflects Air India’s commitment to meeting the rising demand for travel between India and Japan,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.

In addition to improved access to Tokyo, Air India’s expanded codeshare agreement with All Nippon Airways (ANA) allows passengers seamless connectivity to six major Japanese cities: Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka, and Sapporo. This partnership enables travellers to book a single ticket with baggage checked through to their final destination.

Domestically, the daily service enhances connections to key Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune, as well as to Air India’s broader international network across Asia and Europe.

Bookings for the daily Delhi-Tokyo Haneda flights are now open through Air India’s official website, mobile app, and authorised travel agents.
